Hello All! Just thought I would pop on and say Hi! I'm Andrew from Cornwall, UK. Been collecting Lego for displaying for a few years now, mainly Star Wars sets and the Mini-figure series'. Now looking to invest in Lego for the future - I have been on here since May trying to read up all about it!! Didn't realise there was so much going on! (Also finding it hard not to open the sets as soon as I get them though!) cheers Andrew

Hello All! Looking forward to being a part of the site and learning from you all. Just picked up a boat-load of sets from a relative for my son and am jumping back into Lego! LOVE IT! I have used Lego my whole life for play, set design, meeting brainstorming, and now play again through my son! Looking forward to picking up sets I always wanted to build with him! Some we have done already are attached!

I've been buying/selling Lego for over a decade, but I never knew it was a "thing". I'm getting ready to sell several sets again and I found this place while researching some sets. I wasn't sure which sets are worth selling or keeping, but this site has made it easy. THANK YOU!

Hello from South Africa. My son who is 10 years old has a special love for lego. I would like to buy and sell lego, but also use this as a serious investment strategy. Anyone having knowledge of importing /exporting from the USA to South Africa, please contact me. Lego Prices from abroad are quite affordable until importation duties are applied with tax, then it Is no longer a viable option. Furthermore, I would like to become a distributor of lego (of sorts). My plan is to tap into the market, get orders and bring in the sets without holding inventory, not sure this is feasible, again appreciate all comments and experience. finally, since my son is such a huge fan o…

  6. Hi, This is actually my 4th post (apologies for not introducing myself in the first one). Any way, saw a link to an article on the 20 of the geekiest stars wars lego sets about 1 month ago, (http://www.gadgetreview.com/2011/09/20-of-the-geekiest-star-wars-lego-sets) had a spare 10 mins and decided to take a look.....BOOM! I was hooked. Massive star wars fan and loved lego as a kid. I could not believe the sets in this list DS 10188, UCS MF, SSD....as the list just went on and at item my jaw dropped lower. Basically now I'm gutted that I've missed out on the last 10 years of lego. I think it must have been the quickest AFOL conversion ever. Quickly started googling an…

hello, My name is Jeff and I work shipping freight all over the United States and Canada.....I got on this site to find a way(ideas) to either save and/or prosper from lego investing since my 8 year old is infatuated with Legos,is a smart, creative kid because of them and well,I think all kids should take classes in lego building and design to stimulate and even grow early brain functions....Any advice, going to Legoland this weekend to stay in the new hotel in Tampa and enjoy the water park in oppressive heat......

  13. Hi, I've been out of the dark ages for about a year now and have started to invest in Lego to fund the hobby. I kept hearing about this website on other Lego-related forums, so I thought and check it out. Looks good and useful. I like LOTR/Hobbit, Modulars/City, Star Wars. Luckily my son collects superheroes, Ninjago and also Star Wars so we can split the cost. Actually, he is quite spoiled Legowise, since buying things for him is also a bit for me, anyway I guess he'll have something to talk about in therapy in 20 years or so. My husband used to do N-gauge railway models but is starting to get the Lego-bug as well, it's catching that one, so I just recently had to break …

Hi, new member. Have been building Lego's since the early 70's. I grew up in a small neighborhood where some of the kids had huge buckets full of bricks and would spend all winter in the basement building giant Lego cities. Good times! Just recently got back into building. I tend to go in waves, sometimes years between gaining/losing interest, does that happen to others? Anyway, I enjoy vehicles of all types and get into technic kits often. Although I may have a renewed interest in trying buildings and other structures. I also have a small collection of sealed older kits for the fun of collecting. Thanks,

Hi Y'all, Greetings from the South of the Netherlands! 36 year old male, Global Customer Service Director in a 3d printing industry (Yes, I see a lot of 3d printed purposes for Lego coming by) Started collecting two years ago and mainly focus on the Modular buildings and the minifig collectable figs. I am fortunate enough to travel to New York every 2 months, so I have a nice opportunity to buy Lego cheaper than in Europe. As a kid I loved watching Scooby Doo so can't wait to get my hands on the new Lego Scooby Doo sets.

Who's there? Smell Mop "Smell Mop Who?" Someone had to try it! My name is Brian from Arizona. I just registered late last night mainly looking for help. I had a friend in AZ that said buying legos, holding them and reselling them was extremely profitable; yet he just begged me to buy his entire collection because he was in so much debt...so I did buy it. Now i'm setting on a ton of doubles hoping to make some $ soon. I did some thinking and my thoughts were hold my sets until Nov, list them using the BIN offering on eBay and unload them. Then my head started spinning and I thought in the OFF SEASON I should buy tons of Lego " Holiday" theme sets - Advent Calanders, Holi…

Hi all, I have been on this forum for almost a year and gained a lot of valuable information and insight. I came upon the website trying to find some way to buy some Lego sets for my two children at lower cost. Building and buying pushed me out of the Dark Ages and somehow trying to save money led to spending lots more money. Time to stop lurking and hopefully contribute more.
