Im looking to sell some sets and manuals on the german (dutch, french) ebay. So it would be very helpful to get the names of the sets translated. I tried google, but cant find a site like brickpicker or bricksets in german. You can find some of the names on the lego site but its slow and only works with new sets.

Just like the title. Is it worth it to buy separate instruction books and stickers to a set if for a reasonable price?

Interesting to see them doing this. Wonder who they’ll let into the program. https://www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/ebay-will-launch-its-own-delivery-service-in-2020/?__twitter_impression=true

I've had mixed results selling sealed sets on Ebay. I list under an established ID under normal free auction listings for typically top dollar. Not in rush to make sales or I'd list at a lower price point. Would this method be better served by selling on Bricklink? I've never bought or sold on that site before. Any input would be appreciated!

I'm not sure if this was talked about over here, but the MMV is gone from LEGO Shop at Home across Europe and is Sold Out + Retiring Soon on LEGO Shop at Home US. Also it's not available directly from Amazon, only from 3rd party sellers. So if you don't have one and want to put this as a long, LONG, LONG investment, grab one soon. Also, most of the Holiday sets (bakery, post office, cottage) are shown as sold out on US LEGO Shop at Home. Bakery and post office are not on Europe's LEGO Shop at Home, cottage is available.

I found this forum by chance. I was searching for info about original LEGO catalogues. I own an old collection spanning from 1980 until 2003 and was wondering if there's a market for them? Do these get traded the same way as LEGO instructions? I'm located in Belgium and would appreciate any advice (or interest) other forum members might have. Many thanks!

Found these in Greece, apparently EU countries can be the copycats just as easy as China can: https://goo.gl/photos/cqEwhBMiB5przV9y5

So I bought some of those 2x2 buildable bricks at the last LEGO Shop at Home sale. You know, these ones: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Buildable-Brick-Box-2x2-40118 I bought them with the intention of getting my QFFL on and listed them locally for $20. They sat, and sat and sat. No interesting bites. A few offers of $10...which would kind of defeat the purpose of the QFFL. Major bummer right? I dropped the price to $15. They sat, and sat. I then had an epiphany. I opened the pristinely sealed boxes, opened the polybags and dumped the contents in a gallon ziploc bag. I took the minfigure and accessories out and a few black plates. I then relist this gallon bag of assor…

Browsing their website I came across the LEGO section and while I think the prices are not the best, they have a great selection and all of the sets seem to be in stock. They also offer free shipping on orders over 99.00 I think. Just a site to keep in mind as a last resort when looking for soon to be or already EOLed sets. I know most of you hate paying retail or slightly above but sometimes emergencies happen, you will will not burst into flames if you have to pay retail once or twice lol!!! http://www.fao.com/category/index.jsp?categoryId=11813410&sr=1&origkw=LEGO

I have a bunch of Chima Speedorz sets coming in. I want to sell them, but, usually I just sell polybags and minifigs. I had some questions about shipping speedorz. Does first class in a padded mailer work usually or will that risk damaging them? Shipping in boxes seems like it might be cost prohibitive. How is anyone else shipping them and what are you getting charged for shipping? Any help is appreciated....thanks in advance.

I have a relative who's been helping me out with buying lego. He works for a big box store but can't tell you which one. He basically lets me use his employee discount of 15%. He's about to quit and asks if there's anything I want to load up on. With this said, do I get the most of my money by buying exclusives (modulars, Simpsons etc) at 15% off or do I use my funds elsewhere buying up supposed EOL sets at full price? (GE, SSD etc). The "eol" exclusives are oos at the store he works for. Opinions are most welcome. Cliff notes: exclusive with discount vs eol at retail, where to tie up funds?

Hi, Anyone have any tips on cheap international shipping for larger lego sets from the UK. I have lots of large sets that I will probably sell in the future on ebay but the international postage/shipping costs seem prohibitively expensive and therefore limiting my market. Any advice or people with experience would be appreciated? Also for those of you in USA, Australia, or continental Europe, what would you pay for shipping and still be happy with the price? (Use 2507 Ninjago Fire Temple or 9468 Vampyre Castle as an example) thanks.

Me and my brother were at our parents place when we found out old lego. We opened the first and then nr 2 and at last nr 3. Then I looked at him and asked what he was doing at his free time the next 3 weeks. Today it is 5ish weeks since that day and we are more or less ready with our Castle, Pirates and Western sets. At first we didn't know really what to expect and now we have decided to sell it so that our children can get their own lego experience. We have 5-8 small sets (20-50 pieces) to go but they will be ready in a day or two

Does anybody here sell on Bricklink by any chance? I have considered doing it, but it just seems like a lot of work with little or no payout. If anyone is doing it or has done it, I would be grateful to hear about your experiences. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I am experiencing some unforeseen financial hardships right now, and as much as it pains me, I need to sell a good amount of my LEGO collection a little bit ahead of schedule. Please let me know if you are interested in buying anything, and I can send you a list. All my sets are new in box, and in excellent condition. I have always been a stickler for condition. I am eventually going to head to eBay with this, but I wanted to give everyone here an opportunity first. I want my sets to go to a good home. Thanks everyone! -Aaron-

I am looking to either learn something new or confirm my suspicions. I am selling a couple of LEGO boxes (yes, just the box. I know, right?) on eBay. From what I can see, there is no *legitimate* way to get around paying $7 to $10 just to ship the thing. I got an eBay request to reduce the price by "flattening" the box. Unless I am missing something, that doesn't change the weight or classification. Thus, it costs the same (though that logic does seem to be lost on buyers, it seems). Anyone have any different experience or insight shipping just the box? Thanks!

Hoping some lego clever person can give me a hint as to what it is worth and if the loose bricks & windows are also sellable. am not thinking of keeping them as they do not fit well onto modern lego because they are tubeless. thankyou flamelilych

I just wanted to say thanks to the people on Brickpicker who have been offering great deals on sets for other Brickpicker members. I think these transactions will only strengthen Brickpicker in the future. Thanks again.
