A fellow trader and I set up a trade. Since the trader was new, I suggested that he send first. He supposedly sent on the 19th without tracking and I still haven't received the figs. The figs were sent via first class, so today would be the 5th day. It shouldn't take too long to get from IN to MI. Obviously, I will wait a couple more days but I was wondering is there anything one could do to track the package down? I assume this is a lost cause.

Okay, so a major lingering question is this issue surrounding gray bricks, both dark and light shades and the switch from the warmer shade, to the "bluish" shade. Does anyone combine the two grays when selling Used sets? I would assume no, because it would be frustrating, but at the same time I see very little listings that use these gray bricks advertised specifically that they are "light gray" vs "light bluish gray". For all you sellers who sell "used" sets, do you note this in your listings? Or is combining the shades of a gray a huge no - no? Thanks for any experiences!

Hey everyone recently I listed a vintage display castle on eBay and it was a tough decision but due to a financial situation I have to sell it I'm just wondering what it's worth? Currently I have it at 2,000 buy it now or best offer. Does anyone know what something like this is worth? Or any information on it? Anything would help thanks!

Would be nice if it did. And have an app to go with it just like EBay. Wish someone would come up with a LEGO-Bay. A site specific for LEGO sellers where we can purchase or set for auction with 5% or less fee instead of EBay 10%.

Hi folks, I've only sold two LEGO sets, but have had a lot of experience selling collectible playing cards (MTG) on eBay. I've found that "buy it now" tends to give the seller more money than an auction listing, if the value is reasonably predictable. I assume the really rare stuff would be better sold as an auction, but I don't have any of that. Anywho, how does Amazon or Bricklink compare to eBay, for the seller? Please include factors like fees and selling tools. Thanks! EDIT: sorry - the poll should be "Bricklink" not "Brickset."

Hello fellow brickheads! My wife and I are approaching our 20th anniversary and we've come to the conclusion that kids are not in the cards for us. Why would I reveal something so personal in my first post on this site? Of course, it's because I'm about to sell off my precious collection that's doing nothing but taking up space. I'm thinking of ripping off the band-aid quickly by selling each theme collection at once, and space is by far the majority of my collection (my brickfolio isn't done yet, I'm still adding). All sets are used, most are 100% complete (of course I would detail which ones aren't), I have no original boxes, and some have no printed instructi…

So a week ago my wife and i decided we wanted a project to do for the upcoming weekend and we randomly stumbled upon a lego set. We were on lego.com and found the largest set was the tower bridge. So i hopped on amazon and bought it because im a prime member. It arrived and then saturday came along and we got to work. We were done around midnight, we basically built non stop until we were done and we had a great time. Now we used to do large jigsaw puzzles together 3000+ pieces but we had more fun building the bridge. Its now Sunday and i decide to look and see if there are other lego sets similar in size or even larger for us to do and thats when i came across th…

So, I was moving some sets around today and noticed my Hobbit Lonely Mountain (79018) felt a little light and when I shook it around a bit, it sounded like small pieces were loose in the box. Weighed it and sure enough, it was 1362g compared to the normal weight of 1688g. Opened it up and every bag was opened, there were maybe only 100-150 bricks inside (Smaug and all the minifigs missing), a few pieces were connected together, there was some cardboard, a couple used Lego Club magazines (no identifying info on them, unfortunately), instructions for 79014, and a stray woman's hair. I bought it at a local TRU 2 years ago, so I'm **** outta luck, right? The seals loo…

I have decided to dabble in selling Lego. I've decided that I will do exclusively sealed box sets and may part out a minifig or two if I feel like it could do well, and then sell the rest of the set. My question is, for what I want to do is eBay or bricklink better? I have looked into both and can't decide. eBay has the advantage of having a larger customer base and easier shipping while Bricklink charges much smaller fees and has a smaller but more dedicated buyer list. Advice? If eBay is the winner should I try to stick with auction or a buy it now? Last question-How do I determine the shipping cost? This wouldn't be as much of a problem on Bricklink since I w…

I have a question about BrickLink that I am hoping that someone more experienced might be able to help... So I've put together a "Wanted List" on BrickLink (for pieces from the Taj Mahal), and was able to find a list of sellers who had the highest amount of "unique lots" on my list. Once I click on a store, there are two options for "mass adding" items into your cart: "Auto-Fill Cart Max" and "Auto-Fill Cart Min". Is there a way to add items to your cart using the quantity specified in your wanted list? Second question: I'm sure that many of you guys have BrickLinked sets at one point or another. So how do you decide which seller has the best "value" for the …

Thought a lot of you would find this interesting. This was a deal offer sheet from over a decade ago when I lived in Florida. 1 glaring set shows up on there for sure. The back story on this deal was these prices were all high at the time when it was offered to us. Also crazy how times have changed in the fact these quantities of deals do not surface anymore. Shows you how different the LEGO market was as compared to now. Sep 24, 2003 To me Sep 24, 2003 Hi, All new, retail boxes. Let us know if you have an interest, you can mix. Thanks! For several reasons, with which I will not bore you, it is time for me to part ways with this pile of sets. Mainly, and the biggest reason, is that I want to take a break from the investing/reselling game for a while and focus on other endeavors. So for me to do that, as I was told by my father, was to get this stuff out of his basement. A little of everything can be found here, from STAR WARS, Exclusive Minifigs, NINJAGO and more. I've entered the sets into the Lot Calculator on this site. Three times to be truthful, just to triple check myself for any errors. The lot is valued at $12.3K. The price for the lot is $9,000. All sets are factory sealed. All sets are listed b…

Hi, I am new to selling lego sets and was just looking for advice. Specific Advice. I have a few 8129-1: AT-AT Walker and according to this website the average selling price right now is about 250. 1. Should I think about selling my 8129s this Christmas period? 2. If I should sale them this Christmas period what is a good date to list them? Thanks

As someone that's a little more interested in building than investing, I decided to take the Craigslist plunge a couple weeks back and finally saw a listing I was compelled to buy, a kid selling a 25 pound tub of assorted pieces for 100 bucks. The transaction was a good experience (rare for CL), apparently there was another buyer but they backed out. The seller was a kid who had been collecting probably since the early 2000's judging by the pieces, looked to be about 14 or so, and was trying to get money to get himself a Nintendo 3DS, so it felt like I was helping him out. As far as the pieces themselves, it wasn't too bad. They were clean for the most part, there…

Do you sell on Amazon? Ebay? Both? I've been selling on Amazon for 3+ years, mostly sealed sets and minifigures, mostly FBA over the past year and FBM before that. I'm thinking of switching over to Ebay for a variety of reasons, and I'm curious what your preferences are for these platforms. I've also dabbled in local sales (Craigslist, FB Marketplace, OfferUP, etc.) but my area is to budget conscious to move any significant amount of product. Which platform do you prefer and why?

Anyone here shipped to Russia lately? I had a buyer for two Harry Potter sets, but eBay won't let me print the label. Might be an issue with the address. Anyone run into issues shipping there due to how the addresses are structured, or could it be something else? USPS.com won't let me print the label there either. I am worried the shipping is going to be way more than what they paid (and I am wondering how eBay came up with the estimate since they won't let me print).

Do most use Priority as it seems almost the same if not a little cheaper when shipping ? Small items excluded. I'm shipping a Cloud Cookoo and Priority is cheaper than Parcel Post. Thanks

I sent a package to Iowa with tracking. I just looked up the tracking number to see the progress of the package. The package was sent to Texas first wtf! I have the printout of my receipt and it definitely shows the correct destination of Iowa (IA). Anybody have this happen before? I hope it gets to the correct destination. Probably should have added, I am in Michigan.

Hello, First off, if this post is not permitted on the forums, just delete it. Often I find myself browsing US online stores and always being surprised about how good you have it in the US with the price of Lego. Many of these stores don't ship to Australia and one of those is the Lego US store which is probably the worst due to its strict policy on Freight Forwarders. I am willing pay for this service say $10 per package forwarded, and even a little more if you went to local retailer and purchased a set and shipped it to Australia. Obviously there are issues of trust. So I'm looking for someone who is fairly trusted on these forums, good ebay feedbac…
