Minecraft

Discussion for collecting and investing with Minecraft themed sets.

  1. Yep. Minecraft will be turning ten years now and to celebrate, there will be a contest for an all-expense paid trip to the Minecraft exhibition at The Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, Washington. Additionally if you check back on the first link (or the main Minecraft website) on May 10th then May 17th, there are hints towards possible savings on related merchandise and content. Plus some big news whatever that might be. MAY 10th UPDATE: A free celebration map available for both Java and Bedrock edition (bottom of the 10th Anniversary page). 25% off all merchandise (excluding sale items) at the official online Minecraft store. (Discount automatically…

The Brick Fan has reported that Lego is planning on creating new Minecraft sets in minifigure scale and would like customer support for ideas. You can head over to their Facebook page and leave feedback. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgNJ6tPi1tk

Did not see this discussed yet, but: Bricks & Blocks has posted a list of the new Minecraft sets due for summer of 2015: LEGO Minecraft The Dungeon 21119 LEGO Minecraft The Snow Hideout 21120 LEGO Minecraft The Desert Outpost 21121 LEGO Minecraft The Nether Fortress 21122 http://www.bricksandbloks.com/lego-minecraft-summer-2015-sets-list-revealed/ I for one am excited for the investment potential for the holidays and of course holding the micro worlds to flip once they appreciate. What are your thoughts?

No official names known but we can see there will be another wave on the way. I hope one of these will include some villagers and perhaps a couple more of the critters from the game like a Slime or Wither Skeleton or even The Wither. We now have something of 'official' names according to this source. I hope the Iron Golem will include at least a couple Villagers and there will be a Wither Skeleton to go with The Wither. 21123 - The Iron Golem = 19.99 €21124 - The End Portal = 59.99 €21125 - The Jungle Tree House21126 - The Wither = 34.99 €

Drastic reduction in releases. Mainly buildable figures plus a boat.

Was at B&****** yesterday for round two of purchasing. Both stores I went to had this set - marked at $34.95. Since it is not considered an "educational" toy (like the Architecture series), it does not qualify for the BOGO 50. However, if you are a member you can still get them for 10% off. I was very surprised to see them there. Market is getting flooded with this set....

I realize I am late with this announcement but oh well. Anyway, here is the Augmented Reality edition of Minecraft a lot of us were expecting to come about. It will be free to play on mobile devices supporting iOS 10 or Android 7 minimum.

  14. Why yes, that is my alliteration addiction showing in the title. Haha. Anywho for anyone still using their Mojang account to play Minecraft will need to migrate over to a Microsoft account (preexisting or new). Originally Mojang planned to send out emails in batches letting players know when their eligibility was up. However they have now opted to notify players through the Minecraft Launcher and their profile page on minecraft.net. If you do receive an email prompting you to migrate your Minecraft account, ignore it. ([email protected] or [email protected] are the only official emails to note) Moving along the process is not difficult …

  15. Have they decided to no longer produce any Micro World sets for Minecraft? While expensive for the size, I thought they were much better display pieces and collectibles, and even designs than what we're seeing with the regular sets. Anyone hear any news?
