Anywho for anyone still using their Mojang account to play Minecraft will need to migrate over to a Microsoft account (preexisting or new). Originally Mojang planned to send out emails in batches letting players know when their eligibility was up. However they have now opted to notify players through the Minecraft Launcher and their profile page on minecraft.net. If you do receive an email prompting you to migrate your Minecraft account, ignore it. ([email protected] or [email protected] are the only official emails to note) Moving along the process is not difficult at all as explained in this guide.
