Retailing for $39.99 on release around August later in the year is the skyward elf Aira's ride carried away by swift horsepower of two gracious Pegasi all made from 319 pieces. (Yes I full realize there really is not a plural to Pegasus same as Phoenix considering both stories only had one in existence but that is another of those debates with no end.)

I figured the largest and soon to be available by the summer (August) set of the new Elves theme deserved its own thread already especially now that we have an official image to go with the model on display at one of the last toy fair events. A large lovely abode home to the strong and wise gentle queen of the elves, Skyra, made from 808 pieces and shall retail for the royal price of ....huh, I couldn't find that because nobody focused on the dang price tag in any shot I looked through! I would guess either $80 or $90; probably the latter.

This is the cheapest of the newly revealed Elves sets, and with that, it has the weakest looking model. The last time Emily Jones came into town on a small set I was clearing over 1000% profit. This one doesn't seem to have that same drawing power.

New molds for the large turtle parts. The small turtle looks to be a recolored model from the Friends sets. Not sure it will have as much drawing power as the dragons, but should be solid if you get it at a good price.

The Fire Lion looks very well done with a lot of detail. These elves sure seem to spend a lot of time capturing and rescuing critters.

The baby wind dragon seems to have grown up. The demand on this one will be interesting. I'm not sure if the lightning wings will be a draw, or a deterrent. But this is also the only dragon revealed thus far, so that may give it the largest draw out in the current line. Hoping the lack of real wings on this one helps my stacks and stacks of Water and Fire dragons. Also thinking, even with the big purple dragon, the Dragon Sanctuary won't take a big hit on this one due to the lack of wings.

This is the only "bad guy" set in the current reveal. That should help its sales, along with another great looking brick model. The tower itself doesn't have a ton of depth, but looks to be quite detailed.

I don't think there is a forum for these, so I thought I'd start one with some quick observations for the retired sets. 41181. Sold out everywhere. Nearly double RRP already on Amazon. 22 sellers. Disappeared very quickly in SAH sale. 41182. Available at Amazon and Tesco (at least 99 available). 53 sellers. Disappeared quickly in SAH sale. 41184. No stock apart from Tesco (94 left at time of writing. This was above 99 this morning). 31 sellers, all above RRP. Took longer to sell out at SAH. 41185. Still available at Tesco (at least 99 available) and Amazon. Sold out pretty quickly at SAH sale. So, Amazon and Tesco have the monopoly on these. …

Strangely enough this was just uploaded to LEGO's own official channel sometime yesterday. They have done so with their other series but usually are in some other language and difficult to find even through a search. Anyway for little less than a half hour, enjoy the beginning of LEGO Elves! Episode 1 - "Unite The Magic"
