  2. Youtube. I probably speed more time on it than a normal person. I don't recall the channel but it wasn't M&R. At 63 years, my insomnia has really gotten out of hand and I usually line up about 2-3 hours worth of YT to watch. Right after Highlander on HandI. The thing is, at that time, I was such a LEGO snob that, if LEGO had it at 3x price, I would have purchased the LEGO. Still, there is one thing that I won't support. If Pantasy would copy someone else's IP then I wouldn't support that at all. Both are better than LEGO IMHO but I still don't understand the clear glass bathroom door. I could have easily replaced it but I care more about the exterior than the interior. But I loved Pantasy's attention to detail, like the tilting menu boards, drainpipe, pigeon coop, etc.

  5. What exactly got nailed here? - asking for a friend (@Pseudoty)
  6. How did you first find out about the Bakery just find it interesting that I never heard of it but now it seems to be everywhere. I remember when I first built the Cafe Corner circa 2014 I was not back into Lego when it was released and remember posting here about how I felt while building that set. Lego definitely pulls at that innate hunter gatherer thing in us and I don’t get that from Pantasy. Not sure if you remember the one staircase build or the toilet build in the bakery but both were totally new building techniques equal too if not better than Lego. I bet if you took a group of AFOLS and gave them this set to build for review as if it was the next modular that it would get overwhelming great reviews if people thought it was Lego, but because it is not Lego many won’t admit it to themselves for various reasons.
  7. Love these Art sets they are really good mental builds. And looks like no Stickers 😝
  8. I didn't use their baseplate. I just built the Bakery on top of a standard LEGO MILS plate. If I recall, the top plates were 16x32s.
  9. 40% off / $5.99 Daisy Duck BH back in stock. Still limit 5. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/daisy-duck-40476
  10. Thanks for pointing me to this subforum. I built the Bakery about 3 weeks ago and find that, not only did we have the same experience building but also emotionally. I started building this with an "ashamed, but LEGO doesn't offer this set and I want it" and finished with a "wow, that was a fun and quality build." I think that, if Pantasy continues on its course that LEGO should be very afraid. Sure, they make different sets but the bang-for-buck is so lopsided right now that it doesn't make sense to NOT pay attention to Pantasy. I've been begging LEGO for years to make a large Sacre Coeur set. If Pantasy beats them to it, I'm all in!
  11. lego puts all docs on the web site for free, 99% of the time these issue fix them self, Just delete the listing and wait till it comes back
  12. Have you seen my posts on this set in the "Fake Counterfeit" thread? I see you did a Mils plate so it fits in better with their thicker baseplate? I was looking into Pantasy some more on their official website and see the Bakery is marked as Sold Out but still available on Amazon, not sure if they will be making more. I also saw they have the exclusive licensee for Kung Fu Panda new movie but will pass on all of those sets, but they are doing a Boeing 787 that looks good for what will probably only be around $50 on Amazon when it comes out.
  13. I just built the Pantasy Bakery and was blown away by their presentation of parts, including, not a single sticker. All tran-clear windows in a separate bag, numerous printed tiles, quality of the pieces, etc. All that I could think of was "LEGO had better watch their ass!" It was a truly enjoyable build with parts that, while not perfect, was about as close to LEGO-quality that you could get. And this modular cost $82 compared to a $240 LEGO one. (I added the MILS plate - it's LEGO.)
  14. So I was going to put this in the "What Lego set did you build today" thread but since the build is on hold I decided to make a bigger complaint thread post about Stickers. I was building 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City. I purchased it to build because I like the 3D art sets and had pre-sold the minifgures for over half of the set cost to help offset this extremely overpriced set at $300. So, back to "why for such an expensive set can't they all be prints?" argument to which Lego replies that their is a cost per set formula based on how many sets they expect to produce/sell, the number of unique elements and other factors that determine whether it will be prints or stickers. So a $30 Creator set will get all printed parts because it will sell 10 Million copies while this set at $300 would need to sell 1 Million copies to get all prints but say it will only sell 500K so it gets stickers. Seeing what Pantasy is doing, I know @Captain_Obvious there he goes pumping his other side hustle, with all printed elements, Lego can afford to do the same as well or perhaps come up with some alternative option like Jang suggests in the YouTube clip. For the Premium price we are now paying for these Adult sets they should at least get the stickers right and they continue to not. Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors' Edition: the stickers are abysmal especially for a $429 "Collectors' Edition" the off-center Name Plate that you have to cut yourself or display as is, is a major fail. The Orient Express Train: $299 and the stickers were the wrong color, yellow instead of gold, and had misspellings of cities. So you had to get a replacement set. Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City: $299 has 67 stickers and besides being off-center the color on the initial production run was either off or they ran out of ink. See the pictures of what was sent out light grey compared to how they should look, Black. I contacted Lego and of course they are out of the updated stickers but should have more within a month so hopefully I can get back to the build. Finally, BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars, see Jang clip for more, but the SC product line lead designer stated previously that they learned their lesson from the Toyota Supra with doing stickered elements across 3 parts and would switch to prints the following year which they did, but now are back to stickers some that have to be aligned across all 8 studs of the build. Come on Lego you need to up your sticker game for the price of these sets. One last thing, if you are still with me, just an FYI they changed the piece count on Cherry Blossoms from 438 to 430, but it has no stickers 13:10 for a good alternative sticker option:
  15. LOL. Jenny's phone number puts the cherry on top of the sundae. Well played.
  16. Your only option at this point is to reach out to Lego and ask them for the compliance documents. Dear Lego, I am writing you as I am having a difficult time selling some of your products on Amazon. I've purchased this set in vast quantities as it is better than gold, but Amazon is asking for compliance documents due to the fact that this set has a battery in it. Could you please provide me the compliance documents so that I can continue rolling in the money? Eternally grateful, yyyybird111 (VIP # 8675309)
  17. Obviously, YMMV, but I had a promotion on Amazon for $15 off a purchase of $50 or more when using Discover points to pay for at least part of the cost.
