Yes, that’s a big no no and a huge policy violation.

Does it violate Amazon policy for a seller to sell an item on Amazon and fulfill the order by purchasing it from another seller on ebay (dropshipping)? The best info I could find is this from a link I found to Amazon seller central: "Purchasing products from a third party, including Amazon or another seller in Amazon’s stores, and having that third party ship directly to customers, if the shipment does not identify you as the seller of record or if anyone other than you (including the third party) appears on packing slips, invoices, or external packaging, it is strictly prohibited without exception". I don't have an Amazon seller account so I'm not sure if this is still accurate.

NEED ADVICE Selling on ebay is interesting to say the least. Buyer sent me an item not received request and in the comments say that they received "an adult toy, rather than a lego set." USPS shows delivered Thursday 8/21 so it's odd they waited 4 days to do this. I have a photograph with the packing slip showing I shipped them the correct lego set. I can think of two possibilities: 1) Fraud: They are lying trying to deceive me into refunding and they get a free set. 2) Theft: Someone opened the package on the way, took the Lego set and put the adult toy in the box. I haven't spoken with ebay yet. The automated message says I should contact the buyer to resolve. What should I do? *Edit: I do see that my buyer is not who the order was shipped to either. I always ship to the address on the order. I now see buyer has a review from another seller stating buyer is an Amazon 3rd party seller who buys on ebay and ships to customers with a 73% feedback rating

Hmmm, so pretty much like the 'Marine Chronometer' that was available (for points redemption) with the Endurance? Would have much rather the previously rumored lifeboat and figs...

Bleh. The 'May-the-Fourth' Kamino Training Facility promo had 190 pieces and 3 minifigs for a $160 buy-in. Was honestly hoping for something a little more substantial for a $1000USD set. Fingers crossed there's at least one unique/special minifig... like another variant of a hot-tub stormtrooper?

Might stack with the TBD Black Pearl GWP (supposedly releasing 12 Sep)?

Thanks for the info! I read on the Amazon forums that Suspected Intellectual Property Violations might not be removed even if the listing is deleted, which is why I’m a bit concerned. Was your violation also for “Suspected Intellectual Property” — specifically trademark misuse? Under the “Resolve” section, I only have an “Edit” button available, so I removed “The Mandalorian” from the title, but I’m not sure if that’ll be enough.'
-
It just disappeared after removing the listing. No additional steps.
-
Thanks for the reply! Just to clarify — did you take any additional steps, or did the violations clear on their own after you updated or removed the listing? Appreciate the insight!

My violations have been disappearing pretty quickly.

Hi everyone, I just received an email from Amazon titled “Action Required: Your Listings Are at Risk of Deactivation.” It’s flagged as a Suspected Intellectual Property Violation — apparently because the title included the term "The Mandalorian." I’ve already edited the listing to remove the trademarked term, but it says changes may take up to 48 hours to update. The notice says I need to address this issue by August 25. I'm concerned this won’t be enough, and I’ve read that deleting the listing doesn’t remove the violation from account health. Has anyone dealt with this before? What else can I do to get this issue removed from my account? Thanks in advance!
