Looks like all my Series 5 sets are on the way. Wonder if we'll ever get the final production numbers for these sets under the new 'production reallocation scheme'...? -

I ended up just initiating a refund and that basically worked the same as cancelling and everything seems to be sorted out. So the guy that did this ended up doing it again to me on a different set. I did not ship the second set before the cancellation request came in so I was able to cancel after the fruitcake finally made up his mind. The first two images are from the first transaction the third image is from the second. I knew the guy was a little antsy so I didn't cancel immediately, I should have let it go all night to see how many messages he would have sent. I added him to my blocked list after I set the last message. Second transaction, he submitted a cancellation request and then sent this message.

This about sums it up. I've always been able to adjust/pivot but not being able to move product just kills the whole endeavor.
-
Yeah, it has always been F'd by Amazon, but this year they took away the lube
-
Is selling Lego on Amazon still gated? I remembered two years ago or so that there is no gating at all.
-
Unfortunately I don't see this getting any better. Amazon wants turnover. They are getting far more money by volume + fee's versus the small increments in pricing + storage cost. The buy box logic/unfair pricing are the primary drivers that would make me quit selling. There are many risks/reasons not too, but not being able to move product due to a systemic purposeful policy implementation is a business killer. There are so many listings that are 20-30% less profitable due to the sticky price problem which makes the business model invalid. I had thousands of the Mario Cat suit and Fire suits. I was moving hundreds a month at 40-50 and then one day. All the listings were removed and the price was stuck at 15$. With everything else it's impossible to operate a business like this on Amazon without a free market. It's not like collectibles are required medical devices the policy is stupid.

I have been complaining about this to Amazon in every seller survey I answered. (for the bots to ignore ). Amazon is killing their 3PS model. Lets see if they reverse this decision when the lawsuits from AWS outage start piling... LOL

I forgot this song existed. I love the 90s, back when songs had stories to tell

I am in the same boat, received a Vorys notice about LEGO selling on Amazon in September....ignored it. About a month later (few days ago) received a 2nd notice from them. Good times.

I heard this from multiple sources.

What's scary the AWS outage was affecting my Ring Doorbell yesterday

wow... still down.

Looks like all of AWS went down

I’ve gotten a couple random and unsolicited offers over the last year or so. One company in particular has sent several postcards via USPS, the offers…weren’t great. I mean, laughably low. Love the low key shade.

I’ve considered it from time to time, but am not sure how much value simply being ungated would carry given the amount of uncertainty that Amazon has created over the last year. You’d really need to be on the LEGO whitelist to be able to guarantee access to the platform and, even then, things like the new certification rules make it very risky to run the kind of business we’ve all run for years. That being said, I’m sure you could find one of Shane or Jim’s followers who’d be willing to drop some money for access to the platform given how much they continue to hype Lego reselling.
