  2. Thanks for that advice.Does using "issue with buyers address" work? If it does I will use that in the future. If I canceled the order any other way Ebay would still charge me a final value fee in this case over $150. I sold this as buy now not as an auction.

  4. One more thing as a 25 year lifelong ebay seller who sells many things besides lego....If at all possible do buy it now/best offer auctions....If someone with 0 or very low (And in your case suspicious) feedback sends you an offer and if you don't feel comfortable dealing with that person you can just decline the offer and block if so desired...Running things auction style almost anyone can bid and buy your auctions regardless of their feedback And if someone uses buy it now and pays for the item if you ever want to cancel a sale always choose the option "Issue With Buyers Shipping Address"....That's always been my go to for when dealing with someone whom i don't want to deal with....And of course blocking them afterwards Just my 2 cents....Carry on everyone and have a great weekend
  5. What @Bold-Arrow said. Just use this as a lesson for next time. If the buyer is suspicious, then just cancel the order and block. Better to lose $100 in fees vs $700+item. And if you think eBay is bad, do yourself a favor and never sell on Amazon
  6. My advice is to go kick a rock and take your frustration on it then get back at jt . One buyer shouldn’t ruin 20 years of a business. i deal with that stuff every week on amazon. Water off a ducks’s back at this point
  7. I contacted the buyer stating he signed for the item.Did not have to accept it and if it is damaged to file a claim with the USPS.The item is being returned but is being shipped out of Minnesota.I had shipped the item to Los Angeles. There is fraud, but your right Ebay will still side with the buyer.Going to sell the rest of my inventory and get off Ebay too many scammers and supported fraud by Ebay. The weight of the page is more than what I sent. So all the posts about getting signed delivery, different weight of the item returned, photo of damaged return item, or a good one once the item is delivered its not the sellers problem are all false.I have been selling Ebay 20 years and have heard about all the fraud.Fortunate to avoid most of it till now on an expensive set.Through the years Ebay for 99%will side with the buyer.I am a top rated seller so it can happened to anyone.I had called the Ebay rep before shipping. She thought it was dubious but since it was paid for ship.If I did not ship Ebay would still charge a final value fee. I have known a number of sellers leave Ebay.
  8. This is a pretty good year for Clone era Prequel sets, IMO. Best since 2013. I'm definitely looking forward to the Clone Turbo Tank and this time will add it to our collection. The last one from 2016, I ended up buying 6 of them on clearance at Walmart when it was going out to retirement, and they all skyrocketed in value rather quicly. Over the year, I've sold all of them, but still have the minis from one of those sets. The minifigures from that set are all pricey. I suspect this juggernaut will be similar, since it contains Bacara, and 3 Galactic Marines. I hope they do at least one battle pack next year with the galactic marines, so you can fill the tank with them. I also think this Juggernaut will be better than the previous one... so win win. They also did the Arc-170 this year, which I really like a lot. That set was great, and I think will be a good investment set before it retires. And they have the 327th battle pack coming out too, along with a Bly in an MTT. Overall, good year for Prequel & clone wars era sets. In my opinion the republic army, and seperatist army sets are some of the most fun to put together. And the minis are really fun to collect too.
  9. Did you accept the return or did the buyer file a SNAD? If you accept the return then when you get it back you can offer a partial refund, minus shipping both ways, item condition, etc. If the buyer cries and whines and leaves negative feedback eBay will automatically remove the neg feedback and side with you. If the buyer filed a SNAD, you are **** out of luck. eBay will always side with the buyer and now you automatically have to eat shipping both ways, refund in full and not only can the buyer leave negative feedback but there is nothing you, the seller, can do about it. Added: F-cking forum is a barren wasteland but we still can't curse?
  10. What is the weight of the return? If you do not get back exactly what you sent you file a claim and hopefully get refunded as well.
  11. If I did not send it Ebay will still charge me a final value fee. The set is being returned from Rogers Minnesota. The set was delivered in Los Angeles close to me.I will have to pay for the shipping from Minnesota. What I think is going on is a buyer from fake account purchased the item and had it sent to a friend. They sold it to a buyer in Minnesota .The person in Minnesota will send some junk back. The person in Los Angeles gets there money back and the person in Minnesota gets a new set which they sold him at a cheaper price. I am the only one out for $700 .Ebay help support this scam beware.
  12. Stinks, but you didn't have any option but to send it. It will be interesting to see what comes back. My guess is that you won't even get the same set back.
  13. The fast pace of these sets have only hurt my wallet more than helped, made $50 here and there but for the most part a lot sets I have waiting for me to build. I hope they change the cadence to like once a year because I would like to continue to support and enjoy the program but for me personally it’s becoming difficult.
  14. I have not bought any Lego to resell this year.
  15. Yesterday
  16. Interesting, but not surprising. For me, I'm not buying these sets as investments...so being able to secure a copy to build is more important than long-term value. Who knows, having a higher production run might make these sets more mainstream and in turn, accessible and desirable?
  17. Returning from LA doubt it ever left the USA. Seems they were using fake just set up account. Its amazing Ebay sided with them Ebay messaged me as soon as it is shown has delivered to me they will refund there money plus shipping cost.I garuntee it will not be the same condition.Ebay will still side with the buyer. Its well know E bay does not care about the seller.
  18. Looks like they are going to increase the set limit to 50K just in time for Adventure in Transylvania. Waiting for the early review video some of them are up already.
  19. Are they returning it from LA or Bulgaria. You are only responsible to get it to LA. When you get it back check the seal codes to see if they match what you sent.
  20. Here is the set before shipping.ran new sealed. Will post returned set.
  21. The buyer scammed me.They started a return. The Lego world map was new sealed. They signed upon delivery.Reported as damaged.Ebay sided with them and will issue a full refund and I ave to pay for the return.Garuntee the Lego will be opened and destroyed.Just because you deliver the product does not mean it tis over.T

  25. So many new hairstyles, and the vibrant colors! I only wish for LEGO to tackle more anime properties not tied to marketing another Netflix adaptation considering how generally well done these are. About thirty years to see One Piece in LEGO form. Well, better late than never.
