I'm a fan of most kinds of music so I went back to look at what you have posted and thought maybe I could post something in that same genre. But, I grew tired of looking after going back over two years and not finding a single post from you supporting this thread. But yet, you feel free to criticize those that are posting when you contribute nothing? Wow. Just wow.

Christ. I'm so sick of AI slop.

I keep getting surveys with questions related to fees increases. My guess is there will be fees increase after the usual holidays related increase. Or, Amazon can increase holiday fees a lot higher than last year then reduce to rates higher than today's normal rates. Amazon's Business Analysts are probably busy calculating which option would make them more money 😛

71050 - Across the Spider-Verse Collectable Minifigures
TheOrcKing replied to mlc3423's topic in Minifigures
Getting the minifigure baseplates in translucent orange instead of traditional black is already a plus. My picks continue being Gwen, Spiderman 2099, and Spider Punk. Also, Sun Spider. ....And Bathrobe Parker. -
Courting overseas FBA sellers is kind of smart. It would be less likely / harder for overseas sellers to take legal action when Amazon screws up at any point of FBA process.

looks like the euro listing,. I think amazon is pushing for more sellers from China, and EU ... I watched a webinar they had today, Main focus was China and EU shipments direct to AWD

I knocked these builds out over the last two days...initially started building the Icons Lighthouse, but the motor was DOA and waiting for a replacement to be delivered by Lego. I hope they make more of these dino scull fossils.

I got an email for one : B08G4BQJ1Q

Only ended being the Carousel so far, unlike the last time, when it was an email with one, followed by an email with 30, followed by an email with 40, etc. But maybe I'm out of LEGO listings at this point 🫠

Not good. Was worried about this. Did anyone else get more?

How many ASIN's were affected?

I got this set and built it today. Overall, its a very detailed set, although it is fairly small compared to the 20th Anniversary Slave 1 from a few years back. However, the build is quite nice and it has 707 parts and overall that provides a lot of nice detail for the size of the model. Old versions of this ship are not as clean, IMO. Theres not many studs showing on the exterior of this set and the play features are simple, yet have a nice level of sophistication, especially the part where you push in the nose of the base and it will deploy the bombs. The stand that comes with it is also very simple but extremely useful. So id say the pros are its a good, fun build and looks accurate to the source material. Good minis too. Cons - id rank the 20th anniversary Slave 1 as the best Slave 1 ever made and ahead of this set. The size on this Slave 1 is good if you dont have a lot of shelf space, but if youre looking for minifig scale, the UCS version is probably the best version. This one feels more like a midi scale version. The Lama Su figure is also awesome. I had to add that one to our prequel mini display.

I'm sure this has been asked before... Has anyone had experience requesting quote for bulk buy via Amazon Business?
-
Good points. These explained the changes that seemed coordinated. The pivot to larger 3ps would spell the end for smaller sellers like me all the same.

Summer wave hit my local target today. Decided to buy Jangos Slave 1... Also saw the MTT, Clone Turbo Tank and a ucs ATST. Didnt see the others.

makes sense. the small amounts they make from small sellers doesnt justify the reputational and legal costs. They are aiming to streamline their business to a leaner core of very large 3p sellers with vetted supply lines seems to me.

To me, it has seemed like they hired McKinsey or some other management consultant who came in identified a bunch of ways that they could save money to boost their bottom line. The reimbursement change alone is sure to yield them hundreds of millions of dollars each year with a simple stroke of a pen.

In 2023-2024, I noticed Amazon made strange moves that would hinder 3PS abilities to sell. I thought these were due to chaos in large organization like Amazon causing 1 department not seeing what others are doing. In 2025, looks to me like Amazon's goal is to destroy or at least thoroughly minimize its 3rd party selling platform. There have been too many changes pointing to coordinated effort on Amazon's part. Their middle management have to be so incompetent as to not see the near term impacts these changes to pricing, FBA fulfillment, returns, erc will have to their bottom lines. Although I could be completely wrong and this is just a rambling from an old man 😛
