Was she Dropshipping you the Dropships 😝 Tariff on Confederate states?

Resellers have been burned a few times by sets being extended after 4th May promos, which probably has a negative impact on demand this early in the year. Additionally, the new sets aren't particularly inspiring aside from the Slave 1.

Strange things are afoot at LEGO online. I had a friend order me 4 Dropships and a Fennac keychain. She gets the points and I repay her and get a few extra Dropships, along with the gwps. I got worried because, when she ordered, it was 6 dollars less (she is in a different tax rate area.) She insisted that she made the correct order. Two hours later, she gets this email: We have an update for you You approved an order to LEGO Brand Retail, I... on April 30, 2025 for $171.60 USD. LEGO Brand Retail, I... has updated the total amount of your transaction. Your new total is $176.20 USD. See below for details. Neither of us has ever seen LEGO do this before. Really weird.

Went to a couple stores today and watched a few vids of people in other stores. Pretty dead. Seems the stores sold out of their Slaves but no extra biz after that.

Was surprisingly smooth to order last night. Ordered some smaller stuff to get the gwp. Went to the lego store and they still had jango ships even 2 hours after opening. Just checked and they sold out an hour ago.

Thanks all! So I got the Funko Pop back today and it was indeed my original one that came back. His "damaged product" with "4 blunted corners" was literally a tiny speck of white in each corner where the box folds, since this was a Pop that had a colored (not white) box, and the corners were not dented, dinged or scuffed in the least. I'll admit to being a "box queen" myself with my personal collection, but this is something I would never in a million years consider box damage. I checked eBay listings and every single copy has the same white specks in the corners, or much worse. I immediately fully refunded him and ate the loss. This dude is going to have a rough time collecting Funko when he realizes not every box comes out of the factory with PSA 10 packaging.

ebay has a affidavit that you fill out and sign, Stating what happened. Swap etc. then they refund you.

What steps would you take to recover your funds if a customer claims that the contents of the box do not match the original set they purchased?

Why would you put that on amazon and not ebay. At least with ebay if you get scammed you got some what of a chance of getting your money back

f'ing amazon took my listing down for B004QWZ5M6 due to fair pricing violation. Was listed with buy box at $1200. Amazon wants me to sell at $349. Had to list as collectible. No choice.

They are going down either way. This was the only play they had left to delay the inevitable. 🤷‍♂️

I would guess they are picking up direct in what every country they are made, that's why the tariff is so high since it goes off they cost they pay.
