76924 Mercedes-AMG G 63 & Mercedes-AMG SL 63 has been advertised as $25
-
When I was at my local Walmart last night I saw an aisle up front marked with the early Black Friday Sale signs saying DO NOT touch. They had put up Brown Masking paper covering the product behind. I did manage to see 76924 Mercedes-AMG G 63 & Mercedes-AMG SL 63 + 31156 Tropical Ukulele + 21254 The Turtle Beach House (I think) behind the paper but NO prices yet. Email ads from Walmart say 50% off Lego for the Early Black Friday event.

I'm more interested in fraternity initiations than deals at this point... Although Andrea's Mansion at 30% off is nice, maybe a repeat of $400 xmas sales.
-
Since we’re complaining about this place being slow I will remedy that with this irresistible Grogu Deal. Back that hoverpram up and load up on this amazing deal. https://a.co/d/1hl2ee4

Walmart sale tonight. IS there early preview floating around? I feel like usually we know in advance but this time I cannot find
-
I've seen this happen instore both at Target and Walmart, especially if the checkout person is an older woman. Had one who raised a stink with my buying a bunch of a clearance Lego, and she brought the store manager over who was snooty as well, but finally allowed "this one time". Other stores, the store manager will be welcoming you to buy all they have.

You can join the QFLL group if you don't mind the fraternity style initiation, or perhaps go with this guy No videos in 6 months must be enjoying the good life in Fiji.
-
Any other Lego "Deals" groups, forums, etc you might recommend with this place becoming so slow?
-
That is one of the coolest things I've seen on this site.

Not sure where to put this: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brickboy/brickboy-the-kit-that-makes-the-lego-game-boy-come-alive/description

Think it’s YMMV. I’ve had them PM 1 and PM multiples. To be clear, it was to PM competitor. Not this method of buying up all of their own stock @ higher price before seeking PM.

Based on what I've heard on here, Target can limit their price matching. Like "ok, we'll extend this for one set -- not all 15 you cleared off the shelf." Nothing new here really.
-
I get that. I roll my eyes A LOT. Some really dumb reasons for returns.
-
Yeah, not saying they are more -- they aren't. I'm just "seeing" more now since I'm 100% FBM.
-
Thats interesting. My returns with FBM are exponentially lower then FBA and usually in resealable condition when I do get the item back.
-
This is the first year I've done 100% FBM. Crazy the number of returns that I really did't notice though FBA. 90%+ changed mind/already had. Inaccurate website description is popular too. Got to wonder if Amazon ever puts a cap or some kind of limitation on this. I mean, I know they do if it really gets out of hand but the money lost on all these returns is ridiculous. Whenever I go into a UPS store I always see these ladies with huge piles of Amazon returns. They are usually pretty proficient at it too which implies its a very regular thing. Being in business myself, I'm always more sensitive to costing a business money if I don't have to. I don't park in front of a business I'm not frequenting, I decide what I want before walking up to a cashier, return things to physical stores to save on shipping, don't take utensils & condiments I don't need, etc. I don't know how much of it is because people have little economic sense or the general feeling that is being pushed that businesses are evil for making profit so that's what they get.
-
I was aware but not to the extent I could raise my price that much. Figured if I did they would just transfer discount to another 3rd party.
-
And next week, someone will post "I don't understand why Target hates resellers so much." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This QVC deal has been going on for a day or two. Set 40746 (Santa's Delivery Truck) Reg $20. Use code word "GIFT" when checking out and reduce the price to $15.98. Limit 5 and code only works once per order. Free shipping. The set retires at the end of this year. Not a great deal but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. https://www.qvc.com/lego-santas-delivery-truck-224-piece-building-set.product.T87413.html

Definitely news to me. Thank you.

Maybe this is common knowledge to the pros out there, but clearly some sellers arent realizing this tip. Oftentimes, amazon will discount a set from 3rd party sellers to get it to a price amazon wants. Say for example, a $103 set will be marked as 99.99 with a 3.01 discount provided by amazon. When you notice that as a seller, you should raise your price up to the referral fee, or just more than 15% from the discounted price, in this case a little over 115$. Why? Simple. Amazon's discount will typically expand up and to the price of its referral fee. So they give it up to get to their desired price point. More than that and amazon will not discount your price at all. But why leave money on the table? Note: It may not be exactly to the referral price. I did not test this extensively. Please let me know if this is news to you. Im curious if everyone already realized this.

These sets are like a cross between a LEGO and a snap-together model kit. Pieces are very specialized but in the end the build does look the part to a T. I hope to see them release construction sets based on the more signature rides the brand built its reputation upon. And I remember the clutch on ol' Mega Bloks. Many of the parts being incredibly tight while some barely hanging on. Sometimes can spot at a glance from the finish on the piece itself what was what.
