Here is the annual rumor, confirmed, non set specific thread we all hold dear to our hearts... with my initial thoughts, even if you don't care, you are still reading them, aren't you! 2026 sets rumored as of Sept 2025 75421 Vader's TIE Advanced $69.99 (it better be in scale to the recent interceptor, bomber and fit in a trench along the new $1000 death star (lol, I joke) 75423 Luke's X-wing Fighter $99.99 (wait did we just get a small version last year and a really nice version in well, 2018, and it was $64??) 75436 6+ Mando & Grogu speeder bike (movie set based or season 1,2,or 3) $9.99 so regardless of the version, its cheaper then the minifighter set for both figs. 75437 Cob Vanth & Cad Bane duel playset $29.99 (probably a lame playset but Cob will be the price point) 75438 Yoda bust $49.99 (not a fan of helmets and busts) 75439 Darth Vader bust $59.99 (still not a bane but it's Vader, so maybe?) 75440 Midi Scale AT-AT $59.99 (what will be the hidden egg? Luke? a bunch of snowtroopers inside it?) 75441 Midi scale Venator $79.99 (didnt we get this recently? oh no, that was the Acclamator, totally different similar looking ship) 75443 Buildable Grogu $19.99 (at that price its probably not going to look well) 75448 Clone Shock Trooper Mech $14.99 (probably worth it just for the minifigure) 75449 332nd Battle pack - Ahsoka's clones and mando super commandos $19.99 (so its four figure battle packs again) 75452 Buildable BB8 $89.99 (the price keeps going up and I keep skipping them) 30727 something something in a polybag for $4.99

Advent set 75418, 2025, such a disappointment. I applaud the lego team for trying something different but this one just missed the mark. Where to start. 1x day of a tiny droid with no articulation or assembly required. 1x day of a tiny droid manufacturer with no articulation or assembly required. 1x day of a crate with three droid parts that do not build a full droid. 1x day for a dentist-like chair. 4x days of modular colorful workshop benches, stoves, garbage cans. On the plus we get a small Christmas sweater Jawa, a snowman like BB8 and a few holiday colored droid builds. Also the standard B1 and B2 battle droids (no blaster for the B1 though).

That set was hot garbage even not comparing it to this set which is exponentially better.

My biggest concern is 60305 hasn't done very well.

If you get the set, might as well go all out.

HUUUUUUGE miss on the GWP. Could have done something really epic. As for the back of the set, meh...its rough looking, but given that 99% of people will be slapping this next to a wall, it can be somewhat forgiven. For me, the nail in the coffin is the price. $800, (maybe $850 with a crazy special over-the-top GWP) would be acceptable.

You’d still be missing the necessary structure and plating for the sphere section. You’d essentially have a Death Star sandwich.

I don't dislike it, but can't see buying it. It's a unique/interesting concept, but not for $1000. There are so many other sets that give the "wow factor" for much less money. This is just like you bought an overpriced lego built display case for all your individually bought dioramas. Unfortunately, the wow factor is more from the price tag or piece count than the final display piece.

I'm sure there will be a MOC on rebrickable for a complete sphere. Just buy 4x sets. You can sell off the duplicate figs and have a small Stormtrooper Army 😀

The more I listen to the Designer defend his decisions the more I hate this set. He wanted to save space but you can’t hang the set on the wall. Wait until we see the sticker sheets. The back is horrendous so where do you display it.

Hmm, a $1000 msrp set that requires MOC to make it epic. Probably not the publicity LEGO would want.. 🤣

This is prime subject material for some epic MOC that will blow everyones minds and get them to buy it. Like turning this into a complete sphere with more dioramas in other slices or something
