  1. You can actually bring it food and water from the outside. Although prices in the park are not outrageous, may save you a few dollars.
  2. I agree. However, there was a dud called B-wing in the collectors series. Unfortunately, I have boxes and boxes of them.
  3. Wow, I am surprised to hear many of the same experience here. This is absolutely ridiculous, it is basically a fraud. If there is enough of us, maybe we should consider a class action lawsuit. A chance for some lawyers to make big money.
  4. Not sure if anyone has had this problem before, but I tried to purchase two Elsa Snow Glow at tru.com with a gift card back in November, and used a gift card. when i checked out, the website took me right back to the Cart page, and no order number was ever generated. To my horror, the exact amount of purchase has been deducted from the gift card. Called customer service and the CSR verified my claim when she looked up the gift card info because there was no transaction attached to the debit. A complaint was opened. Three calls later, they were still "working" on it. Filed a dispute with Better Business Bereau on Dec 7, Toys R Us ignored it and never answered whatsoever. This is the second time TrU did me very wrong. i bought four sets on ebay tru in pairs. They only sent one of each instead two of each, and did not want to budge, stating tracking showed delivered. Unfortunately, I used Tru mastercard, which I had to fight tooth and nail, and a couple of months later, they finally gave me the credit, and the manager told me that this is like a gift for you, because your purchase is your problem. The way I proved it was that the shipping weight as found on UPS.com was a lot less than what it should have been. I am ending my association with tru, and will not buy from them again. I am going to cancel my credit card as well. I refuse to give them another dollar. My advice to you is be really careful when dealing with them, especially when using gift cards, there is a flaw in their system, best not use it on hot items that may have a chance of going out of stock online (SGe was super hot when I bought them, they might have gone out of stock while I was purchasing) If you have any advice or other horror stories about trU, would love to hear them. Cheers.
  5. Thank you all, you guys are da best!
  6. I have a couple of returns thru FBA for big sets. Frustrating part is that the money is deducted first before they even receive the item back. Has anyone here had experience with this process, how long it will take until we get back the inventory or Amazon reimburses. How often does AMazon reimburse anyways? I suspect that since the returns are for bigger sets, they must beat the hell out of the boxes in shipping. Any advice would be appreciated.
  7. We need a Legoland Florida in California. LL California has been bereft of big sets. Tons of winter village, cinema and parisian restaurants, but the extinct species are hard to find.
  8. See if there is Seller Protection eligible on paypal. If there is, you are safe, but if high value make sure you get signature confirmation. If not eligible, hold the package for a few days (3-4 or longer), and see if there is a chargeback that would have happened if the person uses stolen credit cards.
  9. Will the Bm store give you a discount on the spot, or you choose it for the convenience of refusing it on the spot?
  10. 10193 medieval market village kicked my butt, so i am twice shy now about the kingdoms line. Medieval market was a very nice set, but hardly any appreciation. In comparison, Joust just doesn't compare, and based on that, I will pass.
  11. So, several weeks after, would anyone who initially voted as not retiring update that if you have changed your mind? You can pull your vote and revote. Would be interesting what the forum perception is right now on whether this set retires this year.
  12. It is those four on the right that says Made in China.
  13. If they had a last batch, I would guess it would be for Lego S&**** customers whose orders got canceled recently. But you are right, nobody knows for sure. I think most Walmart and Target deliveries of late have been reported with old production dates. If all of a sudden these are new, it is not definitive, but that's not a good sign to me.
  14. Same length and width, but 1.5 the thickness of GE.
  15. Today was a strong day for Town Hall enthusiasts. If the Walmart and Target boxes come with a label of 40R14 or after, I am going to **** my pants. May have to rent a U-Haul to bring all of them back.
