Trains like the Emerald Night 10194 and the new Maersk Train 10219 are still available at reasonable prices. The older Sante Fe trains have appreciated very very well, but they might be too pricey now to buy. MSRP on those sets was $40. They now sell for $300+ MISB. tigereyes5811 Posted September 4, 2012 Share Posted September 4, 2012 The Maersk is a nice train. It will definitely do well in the secondary. I have 2 of them. I also like the emerald night. Just haven't got around to pick it up! Can't go wrong with that classy old feel that it has. I'm feeling the Ghost Train also from Monster Fighters!!!! Just looks so dam cool. Yeah that is surprising, its hands down the best steam train lego has made but it really hasent seen the ROI i expected for a whole year of retirement. I agree it's the best steam train Lego has ever made, and don't worry it will contionue to increase in value over the next year or two!
