Wondering if anyone has some tips about what to look for, etc. If I was going to buy a whole set obviously I'd be dropping a decent amount so would like not to make any "N00B" mistakes.... Slogghead Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 How old? Do you have some examples of what is for sale? Watch out...Most of the 1999/2000 sets are JANK! You start seeing some good sets pop up in 2002 and 2003. There were a lot of people not collecting in these years and thus increases the set value like a UCS blockade runner, cloud city or UCS snowspeeder. Here are some oldies that are worth a little more. Most of the sets though will at least be worth MSRP or a little more, but the designs of the sets are mostly horrible.
