I don't think I've ever had a Dark Ages for a long period of time, as I said in the older topic, but just short breaks of a few months between sets. Sometimes I was so consumed with other thing, I did not have time build with Lego. I almost went away from Lego, but them I found Brickpicker which has brought me back in. I have heard that many people have sold their Lego sets from when they were a child, and then they spent three times as much money buy them back because of nostalgia.
