Large lot

All used sets, with boxes and manual. Looks like mostly recent sets within the last year or two. Person wants 2,200 for everything, but I don't think it has that much value. What do you guys think?

Seapotato, have you calculated the total value according to BP?

I like large lots like this, I find even if I only break even I still got a few solid weeks of building and playing. Plus, if you're trying to gain experience and feedback with ebay and shipping, it's a great way to grow as a seller.

I just added it all up using Brickpicker used prices.  Some things like the books and other gear had no value so I used 50% of retail.  The S10 minifigures I used $2.99, an Hoth Han I chucked in $10.

The total for all 82 items comes to $2,003.69

So $2,200 doesn't seem like a great deal to me.  I wouldn't go over $1,500 at absolute tops.

Those prices look right to me. That is not a great deal. I would go for the lot for around $1,300 if you are investing in the lot, and $1,500 if the lot is for your personal collection.

I wouldn't even do it for that. Here are my points for lots like this:

1. How do you know all the pieces are there? More sets you have, more you have to build and go through.

2. No big Exclusive sets - If I am looking at something like this and don't see a 10XXX - thats pretty much it.

3. Time and money spent to sell 10$ sets.

Lots like these I only buy to build. If I can get a bunch of stuff I want to build for 60 cents on the dollar, I don't mind a piece missing here and there and I don't have to go through everything with a fined tooth comb.
