Pacific Northwest Brickpicker thread

Just hit Renton Walmart and got a couple carts. Worth checking others in area, but I probably won't get around to it. Dealing with glass cases is so annoying. I left a few City sets behind (not worth its own trip, but if you're there anyway, check it out) on account of that. The worker insisted that she carry the sets to the sporting goods counter and pay there, so I did...twice. Didn't want to bother a third time.

Edit: I only bothered with sets that were properly shelf tagged. There may be way more clearance, but they seemed to be on top of it, so I didn't bother checking.

Filling up a cart and being escorted to checkout (ala Fred Meyer) wasn't even an option. lol

Fred Meyer has a $10 Gift Card on $40 toy purchase, including Lego, and many sets are 30% off.

Do you remember any specific themes? Was this a 1 day thing or ongoing?

Woodinville Costco got the Voltron set today for $114.99, I would assume other warehouses in the area will have it too.  Item number is 2131312.

Thanks for the heads up! Picked one up today. Still plenty in stock.

Has Fred Meyer already had their annual Christmas ~40% sale?

Good question. I have not spotted it this year. Been a long time since any clearance widely either.

They never had it last year. Its usually like one day the week after thanksgiving. I think they may be doing something different but I don't know.

Haven't seen much at my local Fred Meyer this year.

Fred Meyer has changed their business model to focus on groceries. They don't care about selling Lego, Toys, Electronics or Clothes like they used too.
