fossilrock Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 I think the RIvendell set is spectacular. The set is well done, and the minifigure selection is perfect. What's interesting is if you took the original 9 Lord of the Rings lego sets, and just took out the tower of orthanc but bought the other 8 sets at original retail price, you still would spend less than what it costs to buy Rivendell. I hope they do one of these large master builder style sets on a few more lord of the rings locations. Rivendell is perfect edition to the theme, IMO. Quote
BrickStanley74 Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Would love it if they did Bag End or even Hobbiton in the same manner. Quote
maestro Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I have a BNISB Tower of Orthanc. I've been offered €600 ($645) for it on eBay. I know I'm supposed to look at the going rate etc but I'm wondering if I should hold out for a better offer? They do seem quite rare. Thanks Quote
maestro Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Anyone have a link to an up to date thread on these LOTR sets? Thanks Quote
