Check this eBay legal action note...

This kind of lawsuit is so annoying because eBay is going to pass the settlement amount and any associated legal fees to the rest of us.  As if it is not hard enough to jump through the existing hoops just to get 20% off FVF. :(

Since the settlement still needs to be approved by the court, here is a way to object to the settlement and hopefully make the judge deny the settlement.  Only sellers who are part of the class (ie. who used GTC between September 16, 2008 to June 19, 2012) can file for the objection though.

You may object to the proposed settlement in writing. You may also appear at the Final Approval Hearing, either in person or through your own attorney. If you appear through your own attorney, you are responsible for paying that attorney. All written objections and supporting papers must (1) clearly identify the case name and number (Richard Noll and Rhythm Motor Sports, LLC v. eBay Inc., Case No. 5:11-CV-045685 (EJD)); (2) be submitted to the Court either by mailing them to the Class Action Clerk, United States District Court for the Northern District of California, San Jose Division, Robert F. Peckham Federal Building, 280 South 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95113, or by filing them in person at any location of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California; and (3) be filed or postmarked on or before April 20, 2015. You cannot file your objection online, nor can you simply mail it to the Claims Administrator. It shall be your responsibility to ensure timely receipt of any objection by the Court, Class Counsel, and eBay
