While my time as a child was around Futuron, I do feel a sense of adjacent nostalgia for the classic Space astronaut. The minimalism in twos between the colors (head & everything else) and prints (a face & torso insignia) harkens back to the bare bones optimistic creativity the LEGO product has established itself to be. The included townsperson from LEGO Minifigure: Year By Year book printed years ago is similarly simple yet is one of my favorite minifigures for that. In a deluge of intricate designs & advanced printing, the "printless ones" standout. Also, space rules. 1 Quote
