I have looked at a couple of sites but haven't found the info I am looking for. My question is specifically for set 4483, trying to figure out how many sealed bags of pieces there should be. Is there a simple site to find that info?

Yes.  There are 8 Dark Bluish Gray road pieces and 5 blue plates that are loose in the box.

this eurobricks review states, "in the box we get nine numbered bags, one bag with big plates and the white rope". looks to be 10 total bags.

i'll be able to confirm myself in a couple of weeks as i made a trade that will bring me an opened box / sealed bag set.
