Ranion Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 I just watched the Lego designer video of the "Maersk Triple-E" and it must have 50 stickers for all the cargo boxes and I've watched some reviews on Youtube and they don't look all that great... I was curious if anyone has used standard plastic model-making techniques on Lego's; namely sticker'd parts? From my experience making Gundam models, there are things you can do to sticker/decal'd parts that will blur the lines between the sticker and the pieces, giving it a more "printed" look that most of us prefer. Or is this treading into dangerous territory; I've only heard of using these methods on DECALS and not necessarily stickers... Though I do think you may be onto something here. For people intending to display a set long term it could be a good option I guess.
