So the other special at TRU that has hardly been mentioned is the LEGO movie scratch tickets. You bring in your receipts/tickets from the LEGO Movie at any TRU and a scratch ticket. Apparently a limit of 100 scratch tickets per store. I took 3 movie tickets in for 3 scratch tickets and won..... 3 LEGO posters, lol. I'm unsure of what the possible prizes but I think 70809 Lord Business' Lair might be the top prize. Each scratch ticket is also a $10 off coupon at TRU good until March 15 so still worth trying to get these things. Just wondering if anybody won anything decent with these?

Yeah it's only 5%, equivalent to VIP points and doesn't come with a polybag, but if you were planning on buying right now and want an option other than LEGO Shop at Home, it's there. They also have PS, PC and new the pirate ship in stock, at MSRP.

Regular price is $30 up here so this is a 33% discount and I no longer see the Spongebob theme in their stores. In fact this is the only set from the theme on the website. I bought 4 to get free shipping.

If you need some for personal collection or gifts sooner than later, Amazon.ca has these new sets at 20% off. Obviously I would wait for investment purposes. These little sets are very cool. Also Arctic Batman is $19.86 (not a bad CAN price if you still want/need it).

I don't think this set is particularly loved, but not a bad price on a retired set: 75092 - Naboo Starfighter - $53.99 ($6 off) - 22 left in stock at time of writing http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/lego-lego-star-wars-naboo-starfighter-75092/10372236.aspx

Just seeing this now, this is easily the biggest discount I can recall ever seeing on this set, Costco previously had it listed for $337.99 I believe. Definitely worth considering this holiday season! http://www.costco.ca/LEGO%C2%AE-%E2%80%93-Mindstorms-EV3-English.product.100057003.html

Was just at the main store across from the Eaton Centre looking for Star Wars black series figures and was surprised to see they had a mix of the new Star Wars and superheroes lego sets available. I doubt this is a sign of much as the other 2 locations down here I went to didn't have any, and there wasn't even a discount available for EB Games Edge members, but keep your eyes peeled. When God shuts a Sears window, he opens an EB door.

No a bad deal for Canadians who want a newer SW set as personal build or as a small gift. Personally not a set I crave but $12.86 is affordable for some building fun...has some droids haha. Maybe use the Super Battle Droids as Terminators in a scene with super heroes

I know this isn't exactly a local deal, but whatever, eh! Happy Canada Day! Any of you canucks got anything special planned? Personally, I'm celebrating the day with my family's signature maple syrup soaked bison recipe (jk ). I haven't noticed any Canada day sales on Lego yet.

Spotted a lone 75021 at the local LEGO store today and it was marked down on sale for $89.99. I asked if they had more and was told it was last one they had from stock that had been leftover from the 'back'. So it might be a stretch to expect to find more at other sites but it might be worth a phone call.

Just a heads up (mainly for Canadian buyers)...no 'must buy' deals but typical 20% off and Plum pts add up if you want/need a particular set. The additional $5 off promo code has expired which would have made it better. http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/kids/toys/brands/lego/?ref=shop%3ahome%3ahome-main%3apromospot-2-5b5d-wednesday%3aps2

I was at the Toronto Legoland to finally buy my personal SSD and they have 10 Orc Forges on their shelf in mint shape from what I saw. If I hadn't cleaned them out of that many 2 months ago I would have taken them. Happy hunting fellow Canucks.

  19. It's that time again, when Toys Toys Toys inflates their already high "sale" prices by 20% and then has a 40% off sale. Basically the price comes out to what Toys R Us would charge when they have one of their 20% off sales. I typically wait for the Toys R Us sale as they have more selection, but those can be months apart, and Toys Toys Toys does have some sets that are EOL or about to be so I picked up the last 2 X-wings, 2 Mines of Moria, and 2 Unexpected Gatherings as in my experience these are becoming hard to find anywhere now. Even still, there are a few Mines and Goblin Kings, 2 Attack on Weathertops, 3 Jabba's Palace, and 6 Unexpected Gatherings left at this locati…

Many stores have 30% off sets. Also, until December 21, you can get 4% in points with any purchase type, or 8% if you have a CT card. Wide range of sets are available and a couple were already below MSRP so it worked out to 45% off (based on 4% points). Yay LEGO!
