I think it would be really fun to have lego battle packs from the following themes: Ninjago: stone warriors battle pack Lord of the Rings/Hobbit: Mordor & Moria Orcs, Uruk-Hai, Ringwraiths, and goblins, don't forget Hunter Orcs. Ninja Turtles: Foot soldiers I haven't seen any battle packs since 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Building armies with each individual mini-figure can be expensive. Like the goblins range from $6-11 USD for 1 figure. Who else thinks Lego should have more battle packs?

I was just able to help an older gentlemen with his truck at work today. He was very happy and gave me this token before he left. Makes my crappy day better and puts things in perspective. Thanks veterans!

Here is a little thing I found on another one of those random searches. It would seem way back in 1957, Lego actually did release a set that was a church! Admitedly, it is a very simple design out just a couple of years after Lego started selling their "Lego System" blocks but it is there. Then another year or two later, they re-released it although I did not see any changes from the original design. Now of course this was decades ago and the design is rather generic but still it is what it is; a simple house of worship. What do you think?

Hi everyone. I am sure this questions has been asked, but I have not been on the site in a while. Did LEGO release new sets August 1? If so can anyone tell me an easy way to find new releases other than going through the LEGO site page by page? Any help would be appreciated.

Do you think a set will ever surpass 10189 Taj Mahal in piece count? It currently sits at the top with 5,922 pieces. Essentially the question is; will Lego ever make a 6,000+ piece set, and if so, what do you think that set will be?

For those of you lucky to have visited one theme park or another, what were a few of your favorite rides or memories? I unfortunately cannot seem to recall much from the times I went to Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, or Universal Studios Hollywood in California growing up save for some tiny fragments. I can somewhat remember the original Star Tours ride at Disneyland and a little from Back to the Future: The Ride that used to be at Universal Studios Hollywood. Those were fantastic. Star Tours Back to the Future: The Ride To help make this also Lego related, what attractions do you think could make great set designs?

My free time has been limited but I always wanted to try what jaisonline does with sets, buying them on the cheap, building them, and reselling. Maybe you take a small loss or make a small gain, but its more about paying a low price to build. A personal pleygo, if you will. After seeing the incredible outpouring of support for the donation thread, I got to thinking why couldn't jaisonline's system work but with more people? Instead of people competing for cheap sets buy some as community sets, pass them around, and then sell once everyone has a crack at the build. I am thinking something along the lines of: 1) First, club members must be known, trusted, establ…

https://www.informationweek.com/cloud/why-lego-went-cloud-and-serverless-to-handle-traffic-spikes/d/d-id/1339742 Much like others in ecommerce, Lego sees extremely spikey traffic patterns, said Nicole Yip, engineering manager in direct shopper technology at The Lego Group. She discussed how the team behind Lego.com deals with sudden increases in demand for its services, usually tied to product launches and sales events that encourage throngs of customers to access the site at the same time. “Imagine trying to tackle all of that spikiness and year-on-year growth with an on-premise monolith tied to back-end systems with limited scale,” Yip said. Sometimes such mon…

So I was interested in buying a wookie, and I saw this http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-Star-Wars-CHEWBACCA-Wookie-NEW-2012-Minifigure-from-set-9516-Jabbas-Palace-/110920088363?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item19d35a3b2b My question is, is there a black blank head underneath the wookie's head? Or is the wookie head thingy one piece? Thanks Edit: Found out, thanks!
