Hello, Unkar's Thug here, Star Wars and Marvel fan mainly. I make custom minifigures and post them on my Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/people/157144741@N05/ I know this is going to bother some people, but my favorite Star Wars movie is episode 8?

Hi everyone I've been collecting and re-selling Lego for quite a while (and this forum has been a brilliant source of info so thanks to all the contributors and mods). I wanted to ask for thoughts on the future of the Lego resale market. Specifically whether people think the advent of 3D printing and automation will make reselling defunct. Ie if we move to an economy where people can download the data file and 3D printing at a local store? In that situation I guess Lego would get a fee every time someone downloads the data and 3d prints a set. It would mean no storage costs for Lego, no retired sets and no resale market. Maybe it's a bit prem…

Hello everyone! I'm a Lego fan from Germany and together with my wife I am building a Lego City with lots of LEDs and lighting. I rediscovered my passion two years ago through the Lego expert sets and since then our city grew step by step. By joining this forum I hope to connect with like-minded people for sharing and exchanging ideas.

Hey, I am located in Poland. As a kid i always loved lego. Unfortunately back in the early 90' the prices in Poland were crazy so i did not have that many sets ( i think i had on City set and one night castle ) I am already active seller on eBay(selling sth else than lego) and thought that maybe i should expand if i do packing and post office trips every day anyway. I do feel i am a bit late to the game. I am still not decided if i want to make a commitment of reselling lego. I have purchased 4 beatles yellow subs and some Architecture sets recently and i will see how this will go. Cheers.

Hi all. Found this site when looking for more info on a "second hand" purchase. Just what I need to fuel my passion for Lego. I am from Johannesburg, South Africa. Have started collecting since end of 2016. My preference is Star Wars, Technic, Creator and MiniFigs. I also enjoy some of the Classic & City sets. Classic allows me and my lad to create our own builds. One day when I am allowed, I'll probably start collecting to build the Winter & Christmas themed Lego sets Till later...

Hello, I have 20 or so boxes of unopened Ninjago spinjitzu starter sets Jay vs. Frakjaw (discontinued by manufacturer) each box has 8 individual unopened sets. Item number on the BOX is#465482, product #2257. I'm trying to figure out the value of each individual set as well as the value of each box (of 8). Any insight would be great. Thank you.

Hey guys! I am a college student conducting a marketing research project about LEGO products. I thought it a good idea to try and figure out what drives people to collect these products. I would appreciate any input. Even the smallest comment could help drastically. Thanks

Hi New here, found the site by chance. I have always been a massive Lego fan, and when an old girlfriend bought a set for fun as a present, it re-kindled my passion :-) Now many years on, and with my own kids, i have been helping my daughter collect the old Harry potter sets. As i live in Denmark now, and Lego is in everyone blood here, i have been toying with the idea of getting sets for investment purposes. I have the opportunity to buy a 10179 millenium flacon. It is BNIB, with what looks like slight crease on the box. The seller wants $1000 US for it (the danish equivalent anyway). Is this an ok deal? I have read that the value of this has been decreasing, i assu…

Thanks to "The_Collector" for helping me see the light with this forum and other sites to find deals. My main intent for now is to expand my personal collection since now that I can actually afford larger sets and feed my Lego addiction. As for possibly reselling, we'll see how things go. This site and others have opened my eyes to a whole new world. (cue Aladdin music)

Hi guys, I stumbled across this website just recently and can't get off it. I had been sold on the idea of investing in Lego long ago but never really did anything about it. Since reading some of the articles and content, I am going to give it a go. My dream isn't to make millions but rather to finance my Lego Star Wars addiction by buying a few sets per month to squirrel away until they become profitable. I was wondering if anyone else invests for this purpose and how they have found the experience?

Greetings from a military member living in England. My interest into Lego's began as a child in the late 70's early 80's when my mother would buy sets for her and I to build. I had so much fun with them it has continued today. I still have a few of the sets from my childhood but unfortunately most were sold a long time ago at yard sales. Being in the military brat as a child and then joining myself has put a strain on my collection. I have roughly 100-150 sets. Moving every 3-5 years has become a real pain. Most of my sets are in storage right now but I do have a lot with me. My Achilles heal here in England is when they opened the Leicester square Store and whene…

Hi. I'm new to this site. I'm selling my son's used Lego sets (I'm in Australia). I have used this website to determine the used value of his sets. There are approx. 60 sets all with instructions. We are wanting to sell as a bulk lot, without sorting the individual sets. (They are however sorted into colours). My question is, how much less should I expect for the lot given that it is mixed. Would 50% of the used value price for the lot be reasonable without underselling? Any advice from Lego enthusiasts would be greatly appreciated. Apologies if this topic has been covered before.
