Just a quick introduction: I live in Bordeaux (France), I am 41 years old, I have 2 kids (6 and 1). Since my kids is 4,5 and is interested into SW Legos, I have re-discovered the fun and the addiction of the legos... like when I was 6, myself. I've just dicovered Brickpicker, and it looks awesome !!! So much information ! I finally managed to get a bit more free time, so now I'm able to get back to my 2 passions when I was young...a long time ago ...LEGO and Star Wars. I hope I won't ask too many silly questions, because it has been a long time since I was up to date with these 2 topics. But with the website and your help I'm sure I'll catch up quicly. Hi, after a few years of buying sets on sale and selling the a bit more than a year after, I learned of the existence of this website. So here I am! I do this as a minor source of income, as I started when I was 16, but also to pay for the sets I keep. My biggest regret at this point is probably selling my 6866 for 45€ and realizing a few months later that it is worth way more... I promised myself to never make that mistake again, so eventually I sought out a solid source of information on what to buy or sell, when, and where. Hi Everyone, I have been checking out this site for a while now but this is my first post. I wanted to say hi to the community. I stumbled back into the world of Lego back in 2007/2008 when doing some Christmas shopping and came upon a Lego store. I went in and was instantly taken back to my childhood, I went home with the VW bug and built it that same night. Hi, Just joined. Hoping to get some good insight from the community and hoping to get some important lessons learned as I make my first steps. I'm more of a builder and love building the sets, especially the big sets, such as the Star Wars sets. Would be good to know how people balance between getting enjoyment out of these sets vs maximizing investments through just buying sets and storing them away until the time is right to sell for a premium. Although it makes sense not to touch a set and sell it mint for maximum profit, but do people see this being a worthwhile sacrifice to having the satisfaction of building the original millennium falcon set, and then rese…

Hi All- Thank you for the awesome info on this site! I fell into Lego reselling exactly a year ago. This is by far my favorite site for information. Up until now, I mainly have dealt in used Legos. I've been lucky to find some gems on Craigslist. My husband, three kids (ages 6, 4 and 2) and I love building. (4 and 2 year olds are awesome color sorters!) Hi. I been a lego lover most of my life. though i was out of it for awhile during my late teens and into my mid 20's. Then my mom told me to come get the Large bin of lego i had left there. I'm a travel writer and wannabe novelist, originally from Seattle, who, up until just a few months ago, had been living in Morocco for the last six years where I was teaching. Hello everyone! This weekend I had been cleaning out my garage while preparing to get the holiday lights up, and ran across some of our older Lego collections. Needless to say my holiday decorating plans were halted. As I began going through some of my pieces I thought about how much fun I had building these with my girls. I have the following Lego to sell. All loose I'm afraid, but does have all the instructions. Any idea how much I should be asking? Someone said £100, but have put on Gumtree & have only been offered £50 so & have been let down twice by people saying they're coming & not turning up. Any advice would be gratefully received. Hi all, For years I have been collecting the classic Lego Technic sets (70s/ 80s early 90s) and was not interested in the "new" sets. Until recently. I came out of my comfort zone and visited the Lego Shop. I must admit, there are truly magnificent sets nowadays. Furthermore it is fantastic to find out there are so many Lego fans out there. Hi All, My name is Bill, username Cre8orb, and I have just joined. I have a collection of around 300 sets, all of which are used condition, bar 10 or so that I haven't got time to build at the moment. I have imported my collection from brickset, and I now have a Brick-Picker collection that all show as New condition (bar one that I changed manually). Is there a way to batch change them, and then set a few to New condition? Cheers, Bill
