Stopped by a nearby TRU today (Redwood City, CA) and they were offering $20 of $75+ for Lego sets that weren't "Hot Price", Castle, or Lone Ranger sets. Boo! But, they also had a $10 gift card for $50+ purchases. The clerk told me they could be stacked. Unfortunately I was in a hurry, so I didn't have much time to look around. I did notice that they had the Millennium Falcon (7965) for $139.99, which actually seems to be MSRP?? I scanned it and it scanned at 119.99. I was scrolling through the items TRU has listed as exclusive and came across the 7939 train. Pulled it up on BL which shows that both Target and Walmart carry it (which they do), but Amazon does not. Is this simply an error by TRU? Follow up question: thoughts as the lifespan of this set since it has been around 2010?

I couldn't find the mist appropriate place to put this, but does TRU historically have set deals throughout the year? Do people know when BOGO deals happen or annual sales, etc. Or do these things appear arbitrarily?

So I recently bought toys r us/ babies r us gift cards, to use on online purchases with deals like the current BOGO, the gift cards had a little more value then what I had purchase them for, so I would be saving I thought in the long run. I have tried 3 times to place orders twice on sunday and once today, the orders do not go through. The transaction amount is decucted from the balance but no receipt of purchases. They call this Ghost order or Ghosting. I feel like they are defrauding me. I used internet explorer on sunday and chrome today. I have called toys r us and they reloaded the card once on sunday before it happened again. And now I have called again…

I am trying to pay online with the TRU CC and it keeps on giving me an "error" stating "please enter name" There is no place to put a name when you hit edit for the credit card. Just a spot for the security code. Anyone have any idea on what they want. The TRU site always seems to be an issue with me. Tried different browsers too.
