Hello, I don't usually post but I read the forums a lot. I'm trying to sell 6 The zombies in the UK, but there doesn't seem like there's an actual market for these sets. Currently my price is

Anyone here sell vintage legos on etsy? With a 20 cents item fee and 3.5% cut, it looks pretty good.

Hi any good sources to buy lego in bulk? and thus at a cheaper price? I see really good deals on eBay and Amazon, which however sadly do not ship to this side of the world. Would be great if anyone has advice or suggest a shop which does international shipping. Thank you!:)

If you absolutely love polybags, and want 87 SW ones, feel free to look at this. Comes out to $242.46 in total which is roughly $2.79 per. $2.79 is a great deal for any SW polybags, but only think seriously about it if you have some serious ca$**** lying around and love plastic bags. Also comes with a 2 Walmart display boxes. Included: -18 8028 Tie Fighter -6 30053 Republic Attack Cruiser -43 30059 MTT -20 30056 Star Destroyer http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-of-87-Lego-Sets-with-Store-Display-Star-Wars-8028-30053-30056-30059-/221193262803?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item33802556d3

I like the discount on the VC but don't want to miss out on the LOTR sets. Probably won't be able to buy any more big sets until June.

I'm curious how much people spend on a used set (that is still available in stores). How much % off retail would be considered a good price? I really want to build my Helm's Deep set but also want it for investment purposes!

I know that I have had my fair share of odd buying moments. The one that stands out the most is going into a Barnes & Noble a few months ago to buy a book and coming across a mass amount of Harry Potter sets. They were already sold out everywhere and were full price, but I bought every one of them. I know how a lot of people hate it when people do this, but they were at full price, and I knew my window of opportunity for these sets was closing fast. I took 6 of both Hagrid's Hut, and Hogwarts (The small one), along with an uncountable amount of Knight Buses and Quidditch Match's, and around 6 or 7 Forbidden Forests. Now this may not have looked odd in a store lik…

Hey all I have been checking out BrickLink for a few days now and just can't seem to convince myself to actually buy anything as of yet, since I have never used it before. I was just wondering what does everyone on here think of the site, have you ever bought anything on there, new or old. Thanks everyone

  15. Hi there! I'm new here after stumbling across the site while researching my treasures I recently dragged all our old Lego out of the garage. It was originally kept for my son but to be honest he prefers breaking it all up and building elaborate models of his own, for which he has a large bin of odds and ends so the whole lot is destined to go. I have many sets from the 80s as well as a few from the late 70s and early 90s. All of them are unboxed but have the original instructions and are in excellent condition. I have a few questions as to the best way to sell these sets and would appreciate any advice you could give. So... 1) Is it vital that the sets are 10…

I have a friend going overseas to Europe next month, and I was hoping to have him snag me a few sets (Namely the Star Wars Planets Series 4) - Can anyone from the region let me know what are a couple of the easiest/best stores for him to look? They will be in: Vienna, Austria Bratislava, Slovakia Budapest, Hungary In addition, other than the SW: Planets, are there any other regional exclusives I might be interested in having? Thanks in advance!

I'm going thru, (read building and fighting myself not to keep it all), a really cool vintage lot I got recently from CL. Part of the lot is 4 small sets from the 90's looks like they were part of Kellog promotion series. 1560,61,62,63. Instructions are present. Given that this is a complete collection what are your suggestions on pricing it? There are not many of them on ebay so BP price guide is not helpful, so I'm going to rely on experienced folks here Thanks a lot.

Just got an email that they are having good sales at Smyths Toys in the UK. Looks like some Lego can be in there as well. I did not spend a ton of time in there, but maybe there are a few decent finds. Click the image or click here to visit Smyths Toys I also see they have 20% off certain Star Wars sets

So I am new to investing in Legos, and I only just remembered a few bionicles I got when i was much younger that were collecting dust up in my room. I never opened them since I was really more of a star wars guy, but now I am hoping to sell them. Unfortunately, I've never sold anything online before and I can't find any completed listings on ebay that are like what I have so I was hoping someone here could help me out. I have 3 bionicles, namely 8589, 8588, and 8592 all factory sealed in perfect condition aside from a little dust haha. They look like they might be worth something like 8-15 each, but would it be better to sell all three at the same time? And if so for a…

Hi all, I've bought another used lot of lego and after sorting it all and putting the minifigures together, I went about figuring out what sets they came from. Now I've got a long list of lego sets to put back together, but the problem is that these are all older sets (think 1990's-2002) and the manuals didn't have an inventory list at the end of them. Do you know of a good website that provides a 'printable' list of inventory pieces? I'm currently just using toysperiod, but I can't print it or else it would be 15 pages alone for each sets' inventory!! Not actually sure this exists, but it would sure be a huge time saver!

  23. All, I would like your help...what system are you using to print online labels and postage for standard post and 1st class large envelopes for USPS? I was looking at Stamps.com - is that a good solution? I was hoping for a company that had USPS and FedEX/UPS but if not that is OK since 90% of my packages will be USPS. Standard Post (sets and large packages) and 1st class large envelope (minifigs, etc.) are huge for me and I would like to find an online solution for printing these out rather than standing in line at the PO You cannot print these online at usps.com. That said, what label makers are you guys using to get this done? I recently bought the dy…

I was hoping someone could give me some insight into selling new in box lego sets on amazon. I am very familiar with selling on ebay, but was thinking about opening an amazon selling account as well. How do the two compare? Do sets on amazon move anywhere as fast as they can on ebay assuming you have a reasonable/competitive price? Any insight would be appreciated!

Browsing their website I came across the LEGO section and while I think the prices are not the best, they have a great selection and all of the sets seem to be in stock. They also offer free shipping on orders over 99.00 I think. Just a site to keep in mind as a last resort when looking for soon to be or already EOLed sets. I know most of you hate paying retail or slightly above but sometimes emergencies happen, you will will not burst into flames if you have to pay retail once or twice lol!!! http://www.fao.com/category/index.jsp?categoryId=11813410&sr=1&origkw=LEGO
