I put this together a couple of days ago in Excel. Basically, it is a 3 in 1 fee calculator including the three major LEGO selling sites in the US: 1- eBay 2- Our own Brick Classifieds 3- Bricklink They are all in the same worksheet making it easier for comparison and for you to play around with different prices and so on. On the eBay one, you can select some options from the dropdown lists (store, Top rated and such), while the other 2 are much simpler since there are no tiers in their fee structure. Please note that this is to be used only on LEGO listings. This is especially important for eBay since different categories have different Final Value Fees and I wanted to m…

I was at the lego store today and they had several sets marked with discounts due to the boxes being damaged. Are these even worth buying for reselling at a later date? The sets I remembered seeing are: 76052 10236 10214 75095 10234 10232

Ok, this is on topic but not, so bear with me. Barnes & Noble are running this promotion online (unsure if it in store or not) for DVDs and BluRays. How does this relate to Lego you may ask? Very simple. The Clark Kent minifig is given away with the Lego Batman Movie - DC Superheroes Unite. Current price is $14.51. 3 sets for $29.02 before freight wherever you are, average of $9.67 The minifig itself is selling on Bricklink for no less than $16. And you get a dvd. Make of it what you will, but I ordered a few!

Ive seen posts on here about where to sell lego's and I've noticed it is harder to interact on here. I came upon a website that looks like it is still being built but is up and running. From what I see it has an auction however it isn't completed yet. It also looks as if it is a facebook for collectors of some type. Maybe a new avenue to sell and buy collectables. if you want to check it out www.nerdinout.com.

Hello friends, I absolutely love Legos, more so to build them myself and show around the home. I'm sure the entire world knows about Legos and in recent weeks it's been given a lot of publicity as it relates to investing. This additional publicity got me more interested in making a little bit of profit to help pay for the Legos I build and keep. I put in a little research and found a few sets to buy and sell down the road and I would love to know how folks go about selling their Legos. Ebay, amazon, other sites? What have you found to be the best way to do this? Again, I dont plan on quitting my day to day job so this is strictly a side hobby with an intent to sell 4-6 pi…

Hi I am still new to Lego investing and the forums , and would like to get some general knowledge on where and how to start. Where does one find 40% or more of a discount on Lego sets in Canada? Does anyone know when do real clearances on Lego sets (Like 40% or more) start showing up in Wal-marts , Targets and Real Canadian super stores? Which months do you think are the best for Lego clearance hunting? June July or August? how often should I check? (do not drive as of yet but working on it) Always end up buying Lego sets ( for investing) at U.S retail prices. I do go to North Dakota once a month but only have acc…

We operate a small souvenir gift shop in a beach town in Michigan. The town is packed from Memorial Day thru Labor Day and the town only has a junky toy shop (with no LEGO). I've thought about adding a few display cases with individual minifigures, packs of Collectible Series minifigures, smaller sets (polybags) and the like to satisfy those parents looking to keep their kids happy. I wouldn't have room for large sealed sets, and I'm not sure the market would be there for those. Anyone have any experience or war stories to share from brick & mortar retail? Or even convention sales? I'm trying to figure out what items would be most in demand, etc. Thanks!

I have 2 coupons for Barnes & Noble online for 15% off one item that expire today. For some reason I am unable to use them through my account. I have had problems with my account/membership so who knows it that is why. If anyone wants them go ahead try them. M9BA326GB1A5K P7NVCQP4ZWWBA

I picked up a lot the other day with a bunch of older western/pirates/forestmen stuff and it came with a load of extra instructions on MINT condition. They look right out of the box. Is there a market for old instructions and if so where would you recommend selling them? Also got a bunch of extra printed/ modified baseplates as well. I noticed that some local Meijer stores have marked the Fire Plane down to $29.99 which is 50% off. Is this a good buy? I'm just not too sure about this set. Any thoughts?

I left a small padded envelope for my mailman to pickup this past Wednesday. I just checked the tracking number and it only shows "shipping label created". Doesn't show any progress or that it was even picked up. Should I just assume that it just was never scanned? Maybe usps is too busy this time of year?

So I screwed up taping my label to my padded envelope and now need to reprint it. I expected to be able to do this from my paypal activity page but I don't see any links that allow me to reprint the label. This is for a trade so no money was exchanged. Never mind. Option was in the email.

Does anyone have any good suggestions on where to look at for good lego set bargains (in europe)? Apart from Ebay and Amazon, I mean. Everyone on Ebay is well informed and good bargains are very rare in my opinion.

Curious... can an ebay gift card be used to purchase something that has been invoiced through PayPal? (this would be a purchase outside of ebay)

I've recently become interested in buying and re-selling lego sets. One of my first purchases was 9445 Fangpyre Truck Ambush which I picked up for $20 CAD. I recently saw it sell on ebay for about $60. Im just curious how people would expect it to be packed up. I was going to take it apart piece by piece and make sure it was complete. Is it suitable to put all the pieces in one large polybag, or should they be seperated into several? Maybe the minifigs in separate bags and everything else in one large bag? 9445-1: Fangpyre Truck Ambush
