Got the circular in mail today---BOGO 50% off on LEGO starting tomorrow. Doesn't include clearance. Not sure if there will be too many deals to be had given some of their prices, but you never know. Olivia's House and some others are usually priced below retail.

Hello. After recently having a clear out in the house (nightmare!) amongst the crates upon crates of lego i used to own when i was younger I have come across set 6339 space shuttle with launch pad. Now after looking through ebay etc i haven't really had much luck in finding out how much it is worth Everything is in the box as most of it is actually still made up, the instructions are there as well. The box itself has seen slightly better days but is in no way overly damaged or falling apart. Just wondering if anyone here could give me some direction as to how much this is worth as I'd like to sell and give someone else the oppotunity with more time…

I got these Legos at a yard sale for 25$. There were 4 different bins but the lady didn't want me to take the bins so I stupidly dumped all of them into one bag mixing them up. It came with 3 booklets so I know some of them are from the Lego 7180 Star wars and Droid Developer kit. It also came with a Wave Breaker Mega Block booklet but I have looked through them and there is no megablock pieces in the stash. There also seem to be some egyptian and harry potter pieces but I am not sure if they are all included Here is an album http://imgur.com/a/JH1rT Would it be a better idea to just sell them by the pound? or should I make the effort to identify the parts? In total it…

I just got a great deal on 30+lbs of Lego blocks from yard sale. I plan on putting the sets together and buying the instructions from bricklink. After I have some fun putting them together I thought I would sell them on eBay. Many of the sets are retired and I should be able to get some money for them. What I want to know, is it worth buying the original boxes to complete the set. Also if I decide to keep the mini figs will it hurt the cost they go for. Thanks!

Hi folks, I've only sold two LEGO sets, but have had a lot of experience selling collectible playing cards (MTG) on eBay. I've found that "buy it now" tends to give the seller more money than an auction listing, if the value is reasonably predictable. I assume the really rare stuff would be better sold as an auction, but I don't have any of that. Anywho, how does Amazon or Bricklink compare to eBay, for the seller? Please include factors like fees and selling tools. Thanks! EDIT: sorry - the poll should be "Bricklink" not "Brickset."

Hi all, I am wanting to see if anyone has had any experience selling sets at conventions such as your local comic-con, etc.. I have a ton of older sets and for sure a lot in the $20-$60 range, along with and other notable sets, GEs, RIs, SSDs. I looked and my local is charging about $400-$600 range for a booth. I am pretty sure we can do well, but you never know till you try. But it seems like $600 is a big hole to dig out of just to break even. But I guess just a few of Haunted Houses would pay for it but not sure if large sets sell at things like this or if the smalls are king. Thoughts or tips? Thanks!

So it finally happened, I sent the wrong item to one of my eBay buyers. I'm going to send the correct item to them of course, but would you ask for them to send the item back to you? And generally you would pay for shipping back? Or would you just send them a refund, minus shipping costs? It was a small item, just a minifigure (thank goodness) but was just wondering what people usually do.

So I just purchased 152lbs of LEGOs for around 4.00-5.50 a pound. My initial plan was to put them up on craigslist for 10.00 a pound and have a garage sale and sell them for 10.00 a pound. In the 152lbs I purchased there is a definite guarantee of a complete theme set of Indiana Jones(all the sets). There are also Harry Potter sets, I can see the towers for Hogwarts and just a bunch of familiar looking pieces I have seen from licensed sets. My question is, should i just sell them for 10.00 a lb and try to make a quick flip or should I take the time and try and skim through the pieces finding the Indiana Jones sets and possibly Harry Potter? It seems the used prices …

Hi there, good people! I have a Mr. Rebrick minifigure (I won it in 2017, but it has the classic face, no sunglasses, dunno if it was a mistake or what). I know it have been sold on eBay for $350 and there are currently 2 being sold on Bricklink, one for $460 and the other for $500. My question is: as more Rebrick contests get held, this minifigure is gonna become less and less rare, right? Should I sell it now or should I keep it and pray for a new version to get released soon, making the one I got more rare? Thanks in advance for your attention!

Pretty much not a one of my packages in the last 3 days (about 100) have or will make it there in the normal transit time. USPS is doing everything they can to destroy some order in the shipping system. All of my priority 2 day are making it in 3 and all 3 in 4. Also first class has been like 6 days. I am only telling people it will be there if they pay for priority by today. Or overnight by tomorrow.

Does anyone think it might be worth it to buy two of the Sydney Opera House 10234 during the VIP early buying period to quickly try and sell for a profit to those too eager to wait? What do you think this set might go for on ebay doing this? It's way to early to buy these and sit on them for awhile, but would the profit be worth trying this quick flip? Thanks for any responses.

Hello friends, I absolutely love Legos, more so to build them myself and show around the home. I'm sure the entire world knows about Legos and in recent weeks it's been given a lot of publicity as it relates to investing. This additional publicity got me more interested in making a little bit of profit to help pay for the Legos I build and keep. I put in a little research and found a few sets to buy and sell down the road and I would love to know how folks go about selling their Legos. Ebay, amazon, other sites? What have you found to be the best way to do this? Again, I dont plan on quitting my day to day job so this is strictly a side hobby with an intent to sell 4-6 pi…

Just wanted to get this out there - in Feb, 2019 I purchased what was supposed to be a new Lego Brick Bank. I received it, checked the seals (which looked ok) and stored it. Last week I opened it to build and found about 40 unnumbered bags, including a used Zip lock bag, none of which included actual Lego bricks. The instruction manual appeared to be original but nothing else was. I contacted Ebay but the seller had been suspended. Ebay refused to provide any contact info for the seller. The seller's name is yulikar87. So...anyone who purchased Lego from this seller from Ebay might want to take a close look at what you bought. Good luck.

Gents, my mother-inlaw bought my boy a 10179 in 2009 as a gift to give him when he was older. He's now 10 and although old enough to tackle this monster ship, I believe the prudent thing to do is sell it. It hasn't been taken out of the inner brown cardboard box it came in. Still sealed. It was ship in a box, within a box. It does have a packing slip that states the item # 4495738, & description 10179 Ultimate Collector's. The seal on the inner box also has addition info. How do I go about estimating it's value? Should I open the box to see the actual lego box inside or will that hurt the value? I'm not sure if it is a first edition or not. Can you …

I sold a 4203. The buyer sent me a note asking about a "slice that runs halfway across the bottom flat side of the box". Having bought this a long time ago at WM on clearance and it being boxed since then I asked for a picture of the issue. He sent a picture showing this. In his own words he said " It's kinda hard to tell, but it doesn't look like it pierced through all the way to the inside of the box. Almost almost, but not quite. I think." Seeing the picture it seems someone may have used a blade to open up the Lego case to stock it originally. It does not look pierced. Having it in hand he should know if it is or isn't pierced. Anyway in my listings I always state... …

I have to give credit to Kmart online customer service, in the last two days I got two very good refunds! Way back in December I purchased 4 Monster Fighters Crazy Scientists (9466) from them and only received one. I contacted them last week and they are out of them so they gave me a refund that left my total cost for the one I got at $10. Sorry I didn't get all four at a good price, but feeling great about the one I got! About the same time I also ordered two Lego Republic Striker-Class Starfighters (9497) and they shipped one in a plastic envelope so the Lego box was totally crushed in many places. On this one they refunded me the cost of the set (plus shipping,…

I bought this set a couple months ago for $7... should I sell it soon or hold on to it? I see it goes for around $20 on eBay. Selling it at that price wouldn't be bad and I'd have more money to invest with.... also it's one of Lego's bundle things where they add a game in with it, here's pictures.

Has Shopko always had great prices on Lego? I went today to check out what they had, since I had never stepped foot in the store, and they had a pretty decent Lego aisle. On top of that, the prices were amazing. Keep in mind, these are their regular prices: Helm's Deep-$99.99 Jabba's Palace -$89.99 The list goes on. They were also running a 10% off deal until December 24, and had sets like Mines or Moria on sale for $59.99, Clone Wars Geonosian Fighter for $9.99, regular price. Didn't pick anything up today because I really wanted to ban myself for awhile, but the prices were really hard to beat. Is this normal for this store? They still had the Creator Seas…

Okay, I have LEGO going back into the 1960's (yes, acetyl acetate stuff) all the way to the early 2000's or so. Old bricks are in varying condition but the newer stuff is mostly solid. Ranges from old basic set parts - classic Pirates, Castle, Adventurers (pre-Indy), Ninja, Star Wars, Legorado, some later Space stuff (had old blue and gray Space parts, long gone). While most of the instructions are still there, very few boxes survive, just a couple. I have no need for this anymore, and no room to keep it and could use the money more than the LEGO. I would prefer it to go to a good home. I'm in the Houston Texas area - if anyone's interested please let …

I just received a delivery from Kmart and this was in the box. In case anyone is interested it looks like they are giving out 1,000 points ($1) per review. Limit of 25 per quarter. Not a bad way to pick up some points if you are a person that writes reviews anyway.
