I've never had much money for Legos, and certainly not the luxury of mindstorms, but the new EV3 model looks kick-@$$! http://brickset.com/browse/themes/?Page=1&theme=Mindstorms

LEGO has announced the latest addition to the LEGO MINDSTORMS line with the Robot Inventor (51515). Retailing at $359.99, the set has 949 pieces and will be released in early Q4 2020. Robot Inventor is a 5-in-1 set that allows builders to also learn about coding using the companion app. The coding language is based on Scratch and it supports Python for more advanced coders. Check out the press release below.

From the Brickfan: Saw this potentially sweet new mashup of two themes https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-mindstorms-porsche-515153-revealed-as-potential-future-set/?fbclid=IwAR3BclgQ3Y0-GdWpN3BOLDjBFxwW77O-4dXaw9MGtV8pjB9QwU3DLvkSfw0

I have been following 8547 over the last few months. It has been sold out at Lego LEGO Shop at Home for a few months now so I believe it is done but not officially retired as the new MindStorm is coming out soon and Lego is no longer producing the set (i assume). You can't get it at Target, WalMart, TRU, or Amazon. Trades on ebay have been occurring over the last few months for between $375 to $425. $279.99 is the MRP. Yesterday afternoon, I noticed at least 20+ available on Amazon for $279.99 free shipping. By the time I placed my order, they were all sold out. Would have been a decent profit immediately had I been able to get any. …

Is this set rare or useful at all? My friend has it for $250. I can't find it on eBay (live or sold). Brickset: http://brickset.com/sets/9389-1/Community-Starter-Sethttp://brickset.com/sets/9389-1/Community-Starter-Set

I noticed several new LEGO Education sets on the shelves at Toys R Us yesterday. What are your thoughts on this new theme and does it have legs as an investment for the holidays, short-term flip, or long-term hold? They appear to be based on the Duplo design. I don't even see them on Shop.Lego.com yet? 45008 - Math Train 45013 - Cafe 45014 - Story Tales
