It has the 2014 imperial star destroyer half put together and half still in packaging with all the men. All the tubes together weigh out to about 70+ lbs. I'm wanting to sell it all together but I'm being low balled like crazy. $40 is a joke. Help me out please.

Hi Guys, ok, so me and my sister (we're over 40 yo) can't find the number of a Lego set from our childhood. We've searched (in our opinion) everywhere on the internet, on every popular lego site where 'most of the sets' are described. It was a Lego set house with car and 1 minifigure. Minifigure had black top and blue trousers. House had door and blue shutters like this: Door and shutters There was also flowers (different colors) like here: flowers and 1 spruce tree: spruce tree Please help. It took us hours trying to find it. Have a good day, Lego Fans!

Back in my younger days I was a huge lego collector and fortunately I have stored each of my sets with their original instructions. A friend of mine brought it to my attention that a lot of my Star Wars set are probably worth something. I've been doing some research and it looks like most of my sets have seen a price increase since when I purchased them. Now most of my sets had been purchased between the years of 2004-2011. My question is when should I sell these sets? Have their prices plateaued or are they going to continue to increase? Will their prices decrease if I hold on to them too long? I would love to hear from some input from more experienced lego sellers!

I was going through my sets “to build later” and came across some that are duplicates and some that are worth enough that I am willing to sell them. I usually sell on EBay but, for some reason, I have this uneasy feeling about it with sets of this value. I am talking sets that could have values around $1500 or so. Is it safe to sell these on EBay? Are instances of fraud higher on sets like this? Is Facebook Marketplace a better avenue?

Okay, very silly question, and a very newbie question too - I have a couple of Chima characters whose pants have gone missing, and a couple of helmets too. How do I go about trying to replace them? From what I gather, Lego will not let you purchase mini figures, or even parts of them. I need to fix the little guys, but have no idea where to start. Also, i need to find a peach hand for a Han Solo...

I have some used sets and missing a couple parts. I looked them all up on Pick A Brick, and found 4 of the 8 parts I need. But the other 4 weren't listed. Where should I look for the others? A couple are on eBay, but with high shipping they come out to several $ per part. I need: 4506778 - top half of a grey stone from 7631 4506779 - bottom half of a grey stone from 7631 4189009 - a black construction shovel from 7631 6006514 - red hair for surfer dude from 60011 (a currently available set) Any good resources out there?

Hi, I have a quick question about selling my sets - it looks like the Trading / Want Ads / For Sale forum is quite active, but also I've seen links to www.brickclassifieds.com. Which is best? Can I use both?

I'm rather new in the Lego world, but I read that Lego is a possible good investment. I have a couple of unsealed boxes that may be interesting to sell in the near future. I have only one problem, I have no idea where to sell those boxes. Are there specialised sites to sell your Lego boxes? Greatings, Günther

I’m about to go on a spending freeze and won’t be buying any new sets until Father’s Day. I am making one more purchase and think it would be best to pick up a set that might be retired by the summer. I’ve been reading the retirement speculation thread, but haven’t seen talk about any of these sets except for the train. Which is the following do you think will retire in the next six months? -Old Fishing Store -Winter Train (I’d prefer to buy this next winter but worry it won’t be around). -Parisian Restaurant (I assume this will be the next modular to retire). Thanks for looking into your crystal ball. I’ve only been building for a year and I’m trying to learn th…

Looking for 48x48 stud (15"x15") white base plates. Does Lego make them or do I need to go 3rd party? I need suggestions for a trustworthy Lego compatible company if that's the case.

Hi. Do you know if LEGO train track and/or 7938 passenger train or Ghost train will fit through the gateway of Vampyre Castle? (Width and height). Just thinking about it for a MOC so anyone with knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I would love some help from those more experienced with buying LEGO lots. I found a lot I’m interested in and wanted to check if anyone has an opinion on whether it’s a good deal or not. I have purchased several lots from Craigslist before and usually pay around (or less than) $2 a pound including 1-2 minfigs per pound. This one is hard for me to judge how much is actually here and if it would work out to a good price per pound. I do not resell, it will be kept for personal collection. Listing says that all sets have been broken apart and organized by color and that min figs are included (although I don’t see the minfigs in pictures). Usually I buy bigger bins o…

My friend and I came up with an idea to help LEGO investors, and make investing easier, in the words of my friend. The overall concept is to have everything in one place, buying, selling, all the online stores, and portfolios, for example. You would have a portfolio of all your LEGO sets, like the one on BrickPicker, and each (day) it would update to the latest price, to get a more accurate portfolio. It would also have a daily chart for each LEGO set showing the price for about 5 years. It would be like a stock chart. And instead of the stock ticker, it would be the set number! Then if you want to purchase the set, you go to the trade tab, and pick one of…
