"What do you do when you find a piece on the floor?" I tend to have a brief panic attack, calm down and then figure out what set the piece or pieces came from and put the set back together using online instructions (or the actual paper ones). Like Pseudoty said, I also use BrickLink as a resource and have the BrickScan phone app.

My siege encampment shipped today. I ordered right at 2pm, checkout done before the clock struck 2:01.

Wouldn't worry much about missing anything. My order was cancelled today so I'm guessing others received the same fate. Kind of silly to allow check-out but then cancel it. I was even planning on building the castles. Oh well!

Go to bricklink and identify the element then color then see what sets it appears in that I have in that area.

I cannot edit my original post so sad face emote. We now know that several sets have the Smart bricks driving up costs and killing appearances. Some prices have gone up $5 others down.

I bought the mini AT-AT at a Best Buy with some gift cards. It's a nice build but it was difficult to align the legs to the pegs on the base without legs popping off. The tiny snowspeeder could be better.

I finished building my set over the Christmas break but had to order two replacement pieces for missing pieces that took about a month to receive. One piece was from an outer edge and was installed with minimal impacts. The other piece is now just stuck on the back for now because it was part of the prison cell and I just don't see how I can get my hands in there and place it now. There is no gap in view but the door that opens is less supported now. I don't know the last time I was missing a piece yet alone never recall ordering two different pieces and those pieces were never the ones that are added as spares into sets. I have some parts on order to MOC the GWP TIE fighter so I still have that outstanding. I ended up buying the instructions posted above for about $1.34. I don;t know the cost of all the parts to convert the set because I was ordering pieces for other MOCs too.

I am gathering a small pile of small pieces found over the years in my office where i display much of my collection. I found another small piece this morning after moving the UCS death star and a few midi ships i have in the same area. I was debating about digging into storage boxes and going page by page but decided that is going to be very time consuming since I don't know if the piece is from those recently moved or something else recently built in the office. What do you do when you find a piece on the floor?

Eh, I ended up going with UPS Insurance. It was easier.

Why not just use UPS insurance? It's not that much for peace of mind.

I just got an order for a set that just sold for over $800. Buyer will pay shipping and signature. Is it worth buying insurance for this set? If so, where do you guys get your insurance from? There was a site I once used but I can't recall the name of it. Plus, not sure if it's worth it with UPS insurance.

I never pay attention to .mx TLG probably thinks the only ones who can afford LEGO in Mexico are rich gringos who escaped USA.. LOL

I just went online and did a double take...anyone else seeing this? I know consumers get shafted with increased prices due to tariffs but this is taking it to the max here....
