I pre-emptively recalled all the inventory. Was 9 units out of 100 mislabeled due my workers fault. Will cost me about 1k to recall and resend back in. As you say, hopefully the customer complaints do not trigger a review.

More and more Amazon becomes the place to sell cheap junks fast. There is nowhere else to go with price restrictions and forcing refunds on sellers. I pity all sellers who started selling there this year

Good luck with that. I've had product with Amazon for over a year now that is not even mine, is mislabeled (they labeled it) and I still cannot get it resolved. I've opened two cases and they opened one on their own. Each time they just come back and say "yep, this product is mislabeled". I'd worry about your case if you have a lot of inventory because they could disable the listing for you.

Not sure that really means anything since Amazon just makes up their own exception anytime they see fit. Had a return last year that UPS dropped off at the warehouse next door. As soon as the buyer saw it had been delivered he filed an A-Z claim since I had not refunded yet. Got the notification and so looked for package. It was still within the window and the buyer never contacted me first. Amazon just said it didn't matter since customer filed first. Had more switches from customers too this year with buyers returning damaged boxes that clearly were not what I sent. Still don't understand when I can charge return shipping. Seems for the same reasons sometimes I can and sometimes I can't.

So will there be no recourse for people that lie about the return reason to avoid paying shipping? Usually you can do a safe-t claim to recoup those costs.

ICYMI , Amazon is changing its policy on FBM returns . You will now have 4 days to issue a refund BUT if you don’t Amazon will refund the buyer and the order WILL NOT be eligible to Safe-t claim anymore policy : Effective January 26, 2026, the Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) refund process will be updated to improve your return management experience and give you more time to assess returns. In these cases, since you did not receive the item for assessment, you can still file a SAFE-T claim for reimbursement. Today's holiday freebie for the eve of Christmas is The Callisto Protocol. Kind of amusing getting a horror game for the season. Haha. A three-year old offering still listed at $60 (through Epic or Steam). Main criticism I heard was the game is middling between bland and mediocre far as a horror game supposed to travel in the footsteps of Dead Space goes.

Amazon Customer complained that they received Super Mario set instead of the botanical they ordered and that this happened to them 2x. I use a 3PL and they have no way of confirming to what extent this happened. Since I already sold a few botanicals with no issue, I'm hopeful this only happened to a few sets, but there's no way to know. Is there any process in place with Amazon to confirm that the sets are labeled correctly? I can recall all of them, but they are very large and expensive to do so, not to mention needing the damage to sets and the need to resend to amazon. I also do not understand how they were scanned in initially. Doesnt Amazon check the scan against what is supposed to come in?

That will be interesting; I was able grab one at MSRP on Amazon the night it sold out. Looking on eBay, there are 50+ folks that have paid over the odds for that in the last few weeks. Will be interesting to see how much of a restock / how long its on shelves. Wasn't the retirement date 12/31/26? Do we still think it hangs out that long?
