My name is Roberto, I am 38 and I am from Italy. I have recently came out from my Dark Age thanks to my 2 and a half years old baby who loves his Duplo and (re)put me in the Lego frenzy after many years.

 

I have started playing with Legos in the early '80s and still have some sets, Space and Legoland Castle mainly.

 

I am also bricklinking a 10179, still waiting for a couple of orders coming so I should start soon! 

 

I have been lurking this forum for a while, so I thought it is good to stop by and say hi and thanks to everyone. I have read many discussions and I have decided  some orders today, as I would like to invest in some sets from time to time. 

 

What I have got:

 

2 x haunted houses @179,99 euro each - Lego shop RRP

2 x cuusoo curiosity rover @29,99 euro each -  Lego shop RRP

1 x barrel escape @49,99 euro -  Lego shop RRP

1 x unexpected gathering @63,69 euro (20% off Amazon)

 

Unfortunately Lego hare quite expensive here in Italy, so I have paid full retail. I plan a mid to long term investment on those so I think it is ok considering the averages prices in EU. I am very happy for the 20% off on 79003 though.

 

What do you think about my first move??

Good thing is I travel to the US quite frequently for business, so from the next time I will always try to bring home something from the States.

I miss Italy so much.  some day if I get rich, I mean really rich, and my wife say's it's OK. I want to move to Capri.  I loved it there so much. and I would be closer to some of my family still over there and in Greece.
