Hello, my name is not really Piece Out Studios, but that's my YouTube channel, Facebook page, Twitter, SwapFig, Brickset, and Brickipedia name. I make LEGO Stop-Motion films and really like LEGOs! I have as many as 50,000 bricks in my collection, I think. I like to buy LEGO sets on sale (I mean, who doesn't?) and would like to also start investing too. I don't plan on really EVER selling the sets I currently own, but I do want to know what kind of sets I should start buying to make money from in a couple years. I know of one that I am certain will be big sellers in a couple years, Super Heroes 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex! This set is great because it comes with a classic Superman AND Wonder Woman, plus Lex Luthor and a power suit that just looks awesome. However, I am not experienced enough to know for sure about this. What do you guys think? Will it be big later? Yes or no? Also, what other sets should I buy up now? Kashyyyk and Utapau Clone Battle packs? Jedi Interceptor? Grievous' Wheel Bike? Help please! Thanks in advance!

    Check the EOL thread to get an idea of what sets are ending to check to see if there are deals in your area. There is been a barrage of EOL sets lately that you will want to focus on before retail stocks dry up.

    Welcome to the site. 6862 is a great set as ismost of the Superheroes line.  SW can be hit and miss....I wouldn't focus too much on the new ones yet as you'll have lots of time to buy those.

    I agree with the OP's advice.  I'd pick up some Superheroes sets, but wouldn't go heavy into any one of the new SW sets.  I'd read over the investment threads to see what the experts think.  :)
