Those are the type of people who get promoted. Have you seen the movie Office Space?? "Now we had a chance to meet this young man, and boy that's just a straight shooter with upper management written all over him."

Lol, true in so many cases. This guy was actually demoted. And still makes more than anyone else after the demotion (LOL).

I would suggest not posting dumb stuff that has little to do with Lego investing and your posts probably won't get deleted.  It's amazing how it's always the same group of people that we're deleting posts from.  If folks want to talk about politics, guns, porn, ripping off companies, do it on the appropriate forums.

You guys should see the complaint thread the Mods have.

Did you read my post that was deleted? If so, tell me what was "dumb" about it. I asked a question that I did not believe had any moral implications. If you didn't see it, recant away.

I wasn't sure who to ask as to why it was deleted, but I have since received my answer and (mostly) agree with the decision.

Huskers read it and knows the context of the situation.

Actually I haven't read it, but deleted content is generally talked about amongst the Mods, and I will always back them with their decisions.

I bought the Power Functions rechargeable battery box for my 11 yr old's birthday (he is an awesome Technic free builder). I can't believe a $50 "rechargeable" battery doesn't come with the charger/transformer. That is a separate $30 item!!! Plus, it is backordered until Aug 2015??? What a disappointment for him!

I'm really upset when I sell a set, show pictures etc. and I send the item the same day the buyer bought it, great package, and in the description was described "it's not in perfect condition, see the third picture" and then 3 days later, the buyer receives the set, and says "it's exactly as described, not perfect but still nice, thanks" and rates me... 4 out of 5 stars !!!

WHAT COULD I DO MORE ?

This makes me crazy because sellers with 5 stars are more popular than sellers with 4.9 stars...

(the box was just a little torn on the upset, hard to photograph (!!!) and would be insignificant for a US guy)

When I tell you that european guys are such a pain with the condition of boxes... you can trust me.

I can believe it. Tabbyboy stated that many times over the last year. I wonder why they complain about the box condition so much?

Are you sure it is not the word "like" that being overused / abused ?

Actually is following in like & literally's footsteps.

Think I just had some scammer try buying from me spending $630... Paypal put it straight to "under review" unverified user/address... Any thoughts?

Wait until Paypal sort out the problem before mailing the item(s)

yeah I thought it were weird... Paypal account name and mailing address was very different, eBay account was created yesterday as well... I smell fish :-\

Actually is like literally being overused today and like actually makes me barf, like literally ...

How's that for High school talk ??

:D :D :D

If you remove the word "actually" from any sentence, the sentence still makes sense. Except of course a sentence like the above. The word should be banned from the English language.

Try it... Be done with the word actually. You'll be much happier.

All,

First, Ed and Jeff allow use to use their web site and in turn, we have a great community and virtual place to "hang out".

Second, Huskers is being honest.

Third, this is a family friendly web site There are niche web sites that are happy to have your posts about adult-themed Lego objects and other non-Lego interests such as firearms and politics (to name a few).

Furthermore, the BP mods are volunteers that were selected to help keep the forum a fun and informative place for everyone. I also honestly think the BP mods are far more more lenient and forgiving than other Lego-related forums. Those mods can be extremely strict.

So please stop the nonsense by using common sense before posting. Before clicking "submit", think about your post. If you think it has even a 10% chance of being removed, don't submit it. It saves everyone time and frustration. Additionally, remember to be "CIVIL". Search for Ed Mack's post of you need a reminder. Jeff made searching very easy on the forums.

Finally, please contact the mod who removed or edited your post before making public statements. The BP forum software sends emails when your content is removed with the mod's username.

Thanks and happy Weds.

"adult-themed Lego objects"

My bad, apologies!

One word I hear a lot of possibly more than "actually" is sentences starting with "personally". I read so many comments everywhere across the net and sometimes hear statements in real life beginning "Personally, I blah blah blah this blah blah blah that". It isn't annoying so much as feeling overused.
