I’d like to suggest linking the ads to niche porn sites. I feel like those BPer’s who collect costumed mini figures from blind bags would welcome targeted ads to some hardcore Furry communities. Asking for a friend.

Oh man, that brings memories of the one time the site was redirecting to one of those sites ... 

The moment when you finalize a set of 7 BL orders to complete your project ...... and a few minutes later pull out a bag with an eBay purchase that contains most of the parts you just ordered ... *facepalm*

Going to espn.com to check fantasy draft time only to be met by some naked grandma holding a basketball or Koepka's bare a$$ in my face.

Am I over the hill or is this what their audience wants these days?

 

Two complaints for the price of one:

1. EBay sending everyone a Mastercard debit card via the mail at the end of October. Why? No clue. You can go to https://www.PayPal.com/NoThanks to disable this, but you need to do this for every account you have.

2. Amazon FBA warehouse LBG7 is holding one of my boxes hostage since 9/12. Been at "delivered" since that day, but no inventory has been added. Lazy Californians!

You can go to that nothanks website Before Sept 8.  If you already receive the card you have to close it in your Paypal account

That would be a pretty crappy move, because I received a letter in the mail TODAY saying that I could go there to prevent it from being shipped on 10/20.

I just canceled mine using that link...seems like it hasn't been sent yet

but seriously...this is worse than Wells Fargo's stunt...WTF?

some believe a recent purchase triggers the promo...or simply showing some activity (ie clicking thru marketing emails and like)...worked for me (but correlation is not causation).

I have been constantly getting the large (8%-10%) ebay bucks promos lately.

I think that they are trying to counter the anger that many buyers have expressed since they started charging sales tax.

My bad on the eBay vs PayPal thing. It's PayPal all the way. And according to the letter I received Thursday you can still cancel, as cards will be sent out around 10/20.

I did my weekly credit report check this morning and to my surprise saw that PayPal is now reporting and thus effecting your FICO score.  Originally when I signed up for PayPal it was called “Bill me later” back then the free line of credit that did not report was a major benefit. I remember getting a notice that Synchrony was taking over in July and I am sure somewhere in the fine print, that I did not read, there was something about the change in reporting.

I recently moved. I had a Target order sent to me, and it was supposed to be delivered via UPS. UPS gave it to USPS for final delivery. I got delivery notification at 9am, 5 hours before my regular mail delivery. Nothing was delivered. I called UPS. They said to pick it up at the post office at xxx address. I recognized the address as the UPS hub. I went there and they told me it was at the post office and they gave me a tracking number. I went to the post office. They bring out a lost package with my son's Halloween costume my wife ordered (on the day we already sent him to school with no costume). Eventually the guy brings out the Target package. I asked him why the package wasn't delivered to the house (and why no notice at all was left on the house or in the mailbox). Now HERE'S where it gets weird... He tells me the mail 'carrier' has a medical condition that doesn't allow her to lift heavy packages. The box was 10#. The costume was 1#. A note saying our UPS deliveries are at the post office weighs .1 oz...... Hopefully the half a truck of Lego I ordered today shows up on a UPS truck this week!
