Dropped the price on my 76047 Black Panther Pursuit at AMZ because of looming Long-term Storage Fees and sold for $63. Not a day later the listing is up to $75 with _NO_ Prime offerings. *Sigh* Should've done more research .....

PS: Only 9 listings left of this set - opportunity for some of you hoarders?

They lost mine!  :hocky:

I am honestly bewildered as to how anyone could look at the original series' setting and think the world of ThunderCats lends itself to comedy. There were amusing moments sometimes being outright silly for sure yet very little and certainly not in the direction to what this revival is suggesting. From the art style reminiscent of The Amazing World of Gumball crossed with Teen Titans Go! and the choice of inflected 'humor' tossed in for measure, the whole thing so far comes across more as an awkward caricature than a tasteful tribute.

Anyway If you want to hear comedy gold then go look up "ThunderCats outtakes/bloopers".

This nonsense

I get that sites need to support their costs with ads, so I don’t generally run ad blockers, but it getting to point now where some sites are just unusable.
Do the site owners/admins not see what users see?

Losses can exceed deposits. Google Ads clearly caught you filtering TLBM sets on Brickset.

I barely visit Brickset and some other sites because of this ad flood. Not only do they cover the page almost entirely but cause loading any actual article a real pain to a point where the internet browser will stop responding completely. YouTube's ads can be frustrating as well especially the commercials that suddenly pop up usually at a louder volume and then when finally done makes you need to reload the rest of video over again with the exception sometimes it won't even have the courtesy of doing that instead sticking you into buffering hell.

The newest trend is detecting the ad blocker and asking you to turn it off... I turn off the webpage instead.

(sometimes, you can dip into the developer tools and turn off their popup too :))

When you already have an item marked down on sale (lets say from $100 to $90), and someone makes you an offer (lets say $60), and you respond to that offer (lets say $75), and then they counter that offer (@ $67.50) while also adding "How about we meet in the middle?"

The middle of what exactly?

Respond with "ok" and then counteroffer $80 :)

I seem to have the worst luck ordering stuff online. Ordered a Darth Vader minifig from a reputable LEGO seller on Ebay. 100%, 10,000+ feedback. Get it in the mail a few days later in a sealed baggy. It's all there.. except his HELMET. The most obvious essential iconic part of the fig. I could understand if maybe the light-saber hilt or the lower part of the mask, but no this was the main mask piece. Got them to resend the piece and throw in a free lightsaber but still. Similar thing happened last Halloween, ordered a higher end Michael Myers mask and jumpsuit from a reputable mask site. Get the mask, but no jumpsuit. They resent that too but still. My luck. I don't order very often. Same thing happens almost every time I go through the drive thru at Wendys/Burger King/Taco Bell, etc. ?

I remember calling Burger King one time after they missed including my little girls food.

I actually handed the phone to my crying daughter so that the BG rep could try explaining to her that she could just eat her chicken nuggets & fries the next time.
