Discounts on a set that you already reached your quota on ... and the discount is cheaper than your avg purchase price :-/

Makes me want to give someone the Bird(s) out of spite.

I'm with ya (though only for personal build) - my only solace is that I bought my Birds set during an Ebay bucks promo and it helped make my next purchase (still pending - waiting for the next Ebay promo) free.

Hmm, I thought a few weeks ago you vowed never to use that site again?

I haven't used them since last year however the fun continues...

You mean you wake up at night sweating shouting "RAISE.COM!"?

When I find more emails surrounding Raise issues from 6 months ago, I am a bit hostile...

I tried again to use some LEGO cards last week and LEGO Shop at Home would show the value, but wouldn't process them when I'd place the order.  Eventually, I hammered them enough the balances were gone.  I had to get a refund for those.  Luckily, the large amount I had a few weeks ago worked on the GBHQ.  I'm pretty much done trying LEGO cards from there.

I've never used Raise, and never will. To me it feels like the virtual equivalent of meeting a shady guy in an abandoned parking lot to get a deal ... you might be getting the deal of the century, or you might leave without your wallet and your car. Not a risk I'd like to take.

Luckily I never handed him my whole wallet.  I just shredded it into little pieces and handed over a few at a time.

Won an auction on what was described as some loose Lego and a sealed bag #1 from set 7888. Turns out the bag was from a 2012 set, probably 6864. Anywho I should of looked more closely at the pics. SNAD unless they give me a 90% refund I think.

If you won the same listing I saw, at least you didn't spend much on it.

Yeah, though it would have been ice to get more parts to help complete a 2nd used 7888 I have from bulk

Staples has a $10 off $30 in shipping supplies coupon.  It seems that they've done away with the 40% off deal, haven't seen one lately :(

Staples.jpg

used to be 50% then to 40% and now => ...

I wonder if staples realizes that without the discounts they are about the most expensive place to buy shipping supplies this side of uLine. I will certainly be buying all my supplies somewhere else. I already got a bunch of tape off amazon last time. The regular price was only 0.25 cents more per roll then the staples 40% off price from last time I bought it.

Well, it's been more than a day with no response to my concerns.

When people Quote a post that contains multiple pics, just to add a simple comment.  Then two post later the original post is Quoted again with every pic  for just another small comment.  The original posting of pics and the comments that follow aren't the complaint, it's having to scroll through the same pics 2 or there times.  Not trying to single anyone out. Hell I'm pretty sure I've done it but just makes my eyes roll back, and I hear Charlie Browns "good grief"

Might have something to do with the client used - I know I won't be editing previous quotes on my iPad - that forces people to just copy everything when responding.

It's definitely the mobile app.  There's no easy way to edit out the pics, because they only show up as html in the quote.
