I had a stack of sets I've been selling and wanted to keep one for myself. Sold them all and realized I forgot to hold one for myself. The price is 30% higher now than what I sold for, not including loss from fees... : (

"Just sayin'…“ What is this?  I see it all the time.  This expression appears to be some disclaimer which removes the author from all accountability.   If there is no substance to one’s statement then why just not say it in the first place?  If you have something to express, then by all means, say it.  Stand behind it.  Please, do not state an opinion and then turn around and remove yourself from any culpability.  Reading or writing a comment followed by “just sayin’” is a waste of both the author’s and reader’s time. Rant over.  I just said it.

While Letterman should have left The Late Show about a decade earlier, he was a thousand times better than Colbert. Some of the guests look so uncomfortable. The show is such a hodgepodge and just not funny at all, just sad...

target buyers [ especially if you are buying for investment and storing. ] make sure to weigh your set with precision scale.

there are very very scum people who have actually spent time on this. another 76049 scam. one of the set i got has 4 bags, just like the actual set.

when you weigh it its pretty same. weight difference is about 0.6oz. looks like we need to tighten the tolerance level on these sets.

regardless: none of the 4 packages are from 76049 and none of those are from the same set. so this scammer did some homework.

just to make sure everyone is aware that these purchases were on "in-store" purchases. they were online orders placed @ target.com and delivered to your shipping address.

So that means target is either shipping out returns or someone at target has a scheme going. I think the first option is more likely. Time to check a few recent purchases.

I thought everyone already knew they recycled returns...

Everyone minus me obviously...

This makes me think that people maybe thought I was kidding when I said Target was selling Tumbler returns...

I understand that they might be selling returns for retired products, but for items currently in stock and available from the manufacturer, that's new to me.

So this probably belongs in the eBay fruitcake thread, but I just received my first negative feedback for refunding a shipping overcharge to a buyer. The feedback says refunded without an explanation. That's the last time I do anything nice....

Perhaps they did not pay attention to the amount and think you've canceled the sale?

Otherwise I agree, full-on, use-it-as-a-doorstop, survive-the-apocalypse style fruitcake. Fight it and keep on keepin on...

Try contacting the buyer and explain the reason for the refund.  Also point out that you already ship the item.  Then ask him to reverse his feedback.

And for the love of all things capitalistic, QFLL, and profitable....next time you find yourself with a shipping overage...Just consider it a tip.

Exactly. Just communicate and let them know. Most people - despite this being the fruitcake thread - are reasonable.

Except that this ISN'T the fruitcake thread :) Where's that guy with the mop again?
