I thought this was complaint thread... where are the &#^#^ complaints!?!

1 month.  1 month I was able to keep the AC from running.  It was 93 degrees today... in fricking middle of February!

When I was a kid I remember there being frost on the grass in the morning in February here in SoCal.  It's not global warming, it's just SoCal warming.

Now apparently the El Niño is so big and massive that it's not supposed to rain anymore this year.

Look out Pacific NW BPers, I'm moving North!

Do it. It's beautiful up here on the Wet Coast. :D

I don't ever remember frost in L.A. Now Big Bear on the other hand....

How do you ever order something through the web interface of shopyourway.com? Not only do I have to enter my credentials multiple times when I go from my surprise point overview to actually see the contents of my cart (every time), trying to then checkout results in yet another "member login", which doesn't even work (entered data correctly, but nothing happens when I try to go on from there - no error, nothing). Who develops a website like that?

My guess would be the same people that work for TRU...

I often wonder if Kmart and Lego subcontract out their web development to the same mentally disturbed company.

I tend to not try because several times in the past, they sent me the wrong item. To make it worse, the incorrect items that I received were completely crushed. To make it even worse, the items that they sent were not on the enclosed shipping label and there was no store receipt, so I had a giant hassle returning them to K-Mart.

Finally got my "hand picked in Denmark" Bricks and Pieces order, only to find that they shorted me 5 crucial parts. After 30 minutes on the phone, I will get my correct parts in 7 to 10 business days and can keep the 7 random parts too (twirling my finger in a fake excited gesture).

What the Frak USPS? Years of good service and now again a package issue. The 3 Lego sets have been "out for delivery" to a POBox since the 8th of February. Haven't heard from the buyer yet. I'm hoping that it was delivered but not marked.

Sounds like you have the same as I am witnessing. Package was supposed to be delivered on Feb 1st, status was "Out for Delivery" and then changed to "Delivery status not updated". Has been like that since Feb 1st (so 12 days and counting). Will contact the buyer shortly to check if all is fine.

The temperature readout said 95 in my car today and I'm running the Air Conditioner at home and sleeping with a fan on. It's looking like it's going to be a long hot summer. Plus everything is pollinating and my allergies are making it impossible to sleep.

Look 13 posts up.

Yeah 3 degrees F does suck but you East coast guys will have some nice weather sometime.  This drought in the West is making this once beautiful place becoming increasingly meh.  I lived here my whole life and I don't remember sweating my a$$ off in February :hot:.  It feels like I'm living in Dubai now.

Yeah that one week of rain we had is making all these desert bushes go nuts and allergy season is going to be horrible.  Hopefully the wildfires will burn out of control and burn out the pollen

Global warming can stop now. I woke up at 6am because I "heard" the power go out. Now I have to go check for frozen pipes. Weather says it feels like -30 outside. I swear it was in the 60s two weeks ago

I had a dog who was so 'prissy' when it rained and the grass was a little damp. Heaven forbid she get her paws wet. It was freakin' hilarious seeing this big dog barely make it to the yard's edge, hardly squat, try to take care of business with a silly look on her face fast as she could then run right back up to the door all in a flash.

GF found out about these.  Don't know about pricing on these but can only guess next years V Day is going to hurt.

I sent my daughter 6 of the multi-colored roses, pictured on top. 50 bucks for 6.. They get pricy..

hahahahaha

My wife hates flowers.

I used to buy my wife expensive roses for special occasions. She appreciated them but didn't really admire the quality or presentation. It was more about the "thought that counts". Cliché, but true.

So I slowly started to buy less expensive flowers over the years. This year I picked up a random bouquet/ assortment at "that Midwest store". Swiped my mPerks, of course ;-)

She loved them just the same.

I'd rather have a gift that lasts. Spend that money on LEGO instead of flowers

@brickcrazyhouse I'm sure you could work this in a multicolored effect

It's not Lego that my wife wants, but the sentiment is the same - she'd rather have a gift that lasts, not flowers.

It seems silly to me to spend excessive amounts on consumables, but I'm poor frugal. I actually have not celebrated Valentine's Day as anything significant since before I was married. I know there are people out there who need VD to show SO's how much heshe cares, but I am adored every day. My husband cleans the kitchen. Flowers don't clean the kitchen. (Do people with maids have to buy flowers?)

Haven't dyed roses been around for like decades? You stick them in colored water and it sucks it up. Not rocket surgery
