So I sold a NIB lot of 9470 Shelob Attacks, 9471 Uruk - Hai Army, 9472 Attack on Weathertop to a guy in California on Jan 17th. Mailed it out the 18th. It arrived in California Bell Gardens sort center on the 23rd. Then is says on the 26th it arrived in ALBUQUERQUE, NM. Now today it says arrived at the  PO in Denver, CO. WTF? I foresee trouble ahead.

was there a possibility

a. you are using parcel select and/or media mail

b. toner/ink were low when you printed that label ?

based on the hop listed i am pretty sure its combination of (a) & (b). apparently with parcel select they first load the item looking at the label and then scan later/manually. so instead of "CA" its going to "CO" :)

i have had my MA tax return go to "HI" for a week and then delivered.. but that was priority express. and don't ask me why i was filing paper return in these days and ages.....

It was mailed Parcel Select Ground. I use a thermal printer so no chance of lack of ink. Just weird it was in CA already and now is at a PO in CO.

since you are getting scan updated most likely its the address portion that's getting faded. at least they are able to get the numbers to scan so you can still track packages...

I hate it when I had mint boxes bought at the lego Store which I carried into the house and accidentally dropped the lego set or had the sets bumped the sides of the door which are now creased, dented, scratched, etc.  its not easy being clumsy and being a lego collector.

Or when I meet someone from craigslist and watch in horror as they manhandle the box out of their trunk.

Keeps getting better. Departed Denver on the 28th only to arrive back in Denver this morning at 4:40am. I messaged the buyer letting him know that USPS is on crack.

It might be time to send in a request on the USPS website and ask them to figure out what's going on with this package.

its a waste of time. only time i have had packages routed correctly and/or sent back to me is after i file a claim :).

i used to call them spend over hours waiting (they do have a callback but i don't know it works weird with me). anyway long story short as soon as i file a claim apparently they redirect all the mis-routed package either to the destination or back to me.

latest example:

i have had a priority mail package sent back to me from 11/27 :) yesterday 1/29 that's almost after 2 months. { it has been going back and forth for over 2 months. i had called them about 4 times before. called the local post office where the package was. created case. but nothing happened, then i filed a claim on 1/20 and its back to me delivered on 1/29. } claim works very very fast.

Washed the pieces to a loose 10210 I bought the other day and cracked a damn plate while I was drying it! I'm such an idiot.

LMAO...I checked my entire loose pieces bin and couldn't find one! Bought one for $0.27 (new) along with a few other pieces I needed for other sets from bricklink tonight.

I'm guessing I pressed it between my fingers too hard, but seriously, I didn't think I put that much pressure on it. Brittle from age or maybe I do have Hulk hands? LOL

Show it to your other LEGO pieces and tell them, "This is what happens if you don't make me money."
