Welcome to BrickPicker, mrcambug. I have always had a deep respect for the men and women of the uniform. It is an honor having real life heroes like you around. With that said, I admitedly find myself thinking about asking certain questions others have already asked in regards to Lego and their Firefighter sets. On a personal note, I think the vehicles look more realistic like this year's Fire Truck but I'm not sure about the Fire Station. I just have not come across a real life one which looks like that at all but that's only me. Also, how many fire departments actually use motorcycles?

On a side (cliche) note, what did you think about the TV series "Rescue Me" with Dennis Leary?

It is far too easy to get sucked into the vortex that we all lovingly call BrickPicker. Enjoy yourself while you are here! There is so much to learn and great people to meet!!!

Welcome to the site. There's a lot of good info here. make sure you check out the blogs!

Hey Guys.

Thanks especially for all the nice remarks concerning my job.  I say with all humility that it truly is an honor to serve my community.  That is why I pursued the career in the first place.  Also, thanks for all the hospitality.  Unfortunately, I am unable to contribute much yet as I am still absorbing and trying to learn.  I am very thankful to have landed here as this is "THE PLACE" to get the goods.  I love it already.  Thanks again for all the kind words.
