    Once your article has been submitted, it has to be screened by a moderator. Usually this happens within a 6-24 hours. After it has been approved, then it will appear on the homepage as one of the "Latest Community Blogs".

     

    EDIT: Quacs just beat it to me, but yeah, that's what you're supposed to do.
