Some big fan of Mega Man and Hitoshi Ariga's unique artistic take on the blue bomber with his manga "Rockman Gigamix" was so inspired to create this animation that is a slight parody of the opening scene to the "Namco X Capcom" game. You will see just about every robot master Mega Man has faced even the Stardroids from the gameboy title "Mega Man V".

Rockman Gigamix

Well this is a nice surprise I found earlier. There will be a movie based on the Ratchet & Clank video game series which best I can see is supposed to hit theaters sometime in 2015. These two teasers actually show good promise at being faithful to the characters and the universes they explore between keeping the same voice cast and original designs instead of some schmuck thinking it is better to 'reinvent' everything.

I also came across a trailer for an upcoming film being based on the Sly Cooper series. Yeah, I thought it too would be awesome but alas here is where the 'some schmuck' comes in to ruin it. Now to be fair, the voices and humor is intact but what the heck did they do to the characters? Sly looks decent I guess and so does Bentley but Murray is ridiculous. I don't have much of a problem that the thing is 3D animated since I was more of a fan with the animated cutscenes but the game itself was of course in 3D so the movie should probably be as well. However I can't get over the bizarre redesign of the characters. The cartoon likeness from the games feels lost here. Ugh, I'm just ranting. Watch the teaser.

Dudes, check out this totally nerdtastic Nintendo/Star Wars crossover series by James Farr. ....Seriously.

I wish they had squeezed more characters and action into that photo. A little bland and under-stated for my taste.

Agree on Snyder.

Ben Affleck is a fine actor but as Batman? No.

And even the title Batman vs. Superman is ridiculous. Batman is a human being, a great detective, and a great fighter working in a realm that isn't "Supernatural". If this movie were to be realistic based on each mans abilities, it would be a .00078 second film, with Superman flying off to his next lame/boring "adventure" after using his laser-vision, super-speed, or whatever else to make Batman a bowl of soup.

Lego Batman vs. Regular Superman would make a much more interesting premise.

I'm taking the wait and see approach to Affleck as batman. Remember the outcry when Ledger was announced as joker and he turned out pretty good.

Loki, that is a very fair and well-made point.

Ledger was outstanding as The Joker... Maybe Affleck will manage to be a pleasant surprise.
