I think the RIvendell set is spectacular.  The set is well done, and the minifigure selection is perfect.  What's interesting is if you took the original 9 Lord of the Rings lego sets, and just took out the tower of orthanc but bought the other 8 sets at original retail price, you still would spend less than what it costs to buy Rivendell.   I hope they do one of these large master builder style sets on a few more lord of the rings locations.   Rivendell is perfect edition to the theme, IMO.

I have a BNISB Tower of Orthanc. I've been offered €600 ($645) for it on eBay. I know I'm supposed to look at the going rate etc but I'm wondering if I should hold out for a better offer? They do seem quite rare. Thanks
